Hello Everyone, Just letting you know that this little beast is still kicking a#$. The size makes it the most convenient, and this thing is truly built for ruggedness which I should have focused more on in my video. If you're looking for a portable power bank to take hiking or don't have a lot of room in your vehicle, this is it. I use this more than my Jackery 500 or Baldr 330.

I'm not sure if mine came with a 20v or 24v charger.... I was plugging it in to charge before leaving to work and although the 24v 2.0a worked, I didn't want to risk leaving it unattended. So I ultimately plugged-in a USB-C laptop charger. It's really cool to have that flexibility. When I get home I'll double check if the "correct" charger is in another room, although I suspect that tr 24v 2.0a would've been fine even if the "correct" stock 20v 2a charger turns up. Either way it's 48w vs 40w and many people plug 60 watt laptop charger into the DC charge port. Really great all around power bank. I bought it for my astronomy travel rig... a lot of the telescope and astronomy companies sell their own power banks but they don't offer the value of this product. I might even buy a second one. The only thing which still cofnuses me is how solar can be used to charge this unit. I do like the idea of being able to experiment with solar using one of these before committing to the purchase of too much additional equipment.
@jaycofever18222 жыл бұрын
Solar panels like the BALDR 120w solar panel have a USB -C built into the back of the panels. That's how I charge mine. I just connect a USB-C to the portable power bank and then to the panels and BAMOO the power bank charges. Like I said I use the BALDR Panels; that's the only panels that I have tried with this. Good luck and thanks for watching my video.

To charge this from solar, I used a usb c car charger that does 60 watts and plugged that into a adapter for cigarette lighter socket to 50 amp Anderson plugs which are standard for all portable solar panels here in Australia. everyone talks about Cpap machines. I have a Simply Go Oxygen Concentrator (which has its own batteries); however, I am looking for an emergency backup. In the car, we plug the machine into the cigarette lighter and that keeps the internal battery charged. I wonder if this power bank would do the same, and if so for how long?

I want to run one of these batteries to a heated blanket that has a 12V car charger cord when camping. How long do you think it would run than blanket?
@jaycofever18222 жыл бұрын
Most 12v blankets draw 4.5 amps which if my math is correct that is 54 watts which means 266watts should get you roughly just shy of 5hrs.
@gabrielreyes847611 ай бұрын

How does this need to be stored for non use? I understand battery packs can go dead dead if not stored properly. Does this need to be charged up once in a while while storing it?
@jaycofever1822 Жыл бұрын
First, when it runs below the required voltage for the CPAP, the CPAP will just stop. No damage to the CPAP, it just turns off. Like batteries that go dead in a radio. Does not damage the radio, it just needs new batteries. Storage: I charge mine up to 100% and try to run it down a little, maybe like 85%, at least down one power bar on the power indicator before storing it. I repeat this every 90 days; it works for me. It is still running like a champ. One other thing I didn't realize is how rugged this thing is. It can really take a beating.

Nice video very helpful. I'm not the best with power technologies. I have a cpap i wanted to power if we lose power which happened for 2 days last week and I couldn't sleep and it was awful. Anyway thinking about getting this and just wanted to make sure that if this is a unregulated power supply it's not going to damage my cpap? How does one figure that out? I know it says it supports my cpap but I'm just curious about my questions. Thanks
@jaycofever18222 жыл бұрын
I have a res med cpap and it runs it just fine on this power supply. Hasn't blown up yet. But your Cpap may stop working a little sooner because the voltage will drop below you CPAP's power requirement instead of maintaining a constant regulated voltage.
@jrseitz212 жыл бұрын
@Jayco Fever ok thank you for helping. I'll give it a shot. I also watched another video where someone explained in further detail about how power on this thing works and why the 12v cigarette adapter works and all that good stuff so yes learning and watching you and some other video's I'm confident it's not dangerous now and thanks again

@jaycofever1822 Жыл бұрын
@@gigiartstudiowithartistvir3919 All it means is that the CPAP will stop running once the power bank drains to the point that it can no longer meet the CPAPs power requirement. This does not damage the CPAP; the CPAP just stops.

Presentation tip. Keep your recording device's microphone away from your project area and avoid annoying HUMMMMMM! Thanks. I bought one of these. I set it to the maximum output and tried to use my 19V amplifier. It shut off in just a few seconds.
