The first generation Toyota RAV4 1996-2000 needs Denso 3128 platinum spark plugs. Spark plug gap: 0.044" or 1.1mm Torque: 13 ft-lb or 18 Nm Use a 16mm socket with 6 inch extension.

Yes. I just bought whatever plugs autozone was selling. They tell you iridium plugs add 500 horsepower and double your gas mileage. The double platinums are the correct plugs for this car. The 3S-fe doesn't burn gas very well so the fancy plugs with tiny electrodes foul more easily. The plugs weren't bad and I didn't need to change them, but I wanted to make a video.

It's not required, but anti-sieze will make it easier to remove the plugs later.
