Two questions if you have time. When you drilled a new hole how did you remove metal shavings from suction line? Also how did that txv fail open or close? Was coil frozen if failed closed?

The trick is to drill very slow and wipe the shavings away as they form. And yes it failed closed, coil was freezing.

Why, oh why don't people clean up around the equipment or fixtures they want fixed. Common courtesy.

I don't know why some of you guys waste your time, effort, and customers confidence in you by putting back those worthless crappy failing TXV's!! They (WILL) wear out again! I (HATE) them!! If it wasn't for TXV failures, i would probably have 75% less issues on units!! I put back a damn piston when they fail and be done with it! Never have to worry about it again!

Does anyone know if the filter needs to be by-directional i.e. reversible or can it be unidirectional?
@JeffsHVACAdventures2 ай бұрын
If you’re working on a heat pump it needs to be bi-flow. Straight AC can use single direction
