Welcome to the beginning of a brand new detailing restoration series from AutoGlanz. In these videos we take beaten down cars and rescue and revive them to their former glory.
In this series we will be rescuing this 2003 Vauxhall Astra that hasn't seen a wash mitt in its life. We will cover all aspects from your basic wash to paintwork correction and beyond.
In Episode 1 we examine the vehicle and begin cleaning it with a pre-wash, snowfoam and 2 bucket wash.

Great concept! Appealing to our inner need to clean! Needs comms though describing products and usage etc! Can't wait for next one!

Thanks for the feedback Dan. We love the concept, like you say it just draws you in to clean and clean more! God knows when this series will draw to an end and how carried away we will get with this test bed but I'm sure we will have some fun and create some good content along the way 😊 hopefully we can continue to improve as creators and learn from all the valuable points people like yourself bring to light also. Agree totally. The description will be updated a little later with all products used. We wished to try and keep them out of the video so it doesn't look like a simple product placement advert 😊 Thanks for the view and comment.

Really enjoyed the video and the cleaning power of the products!, bet you can’t wait for your equity card to come through the post tho 🤣 I’m in the same boat with a voiceover, don’t mind admitting it’s a scary and daunting thought with my own Channel. The cleaning power of the products before the contact wash were incredible but it would have been beneficial to know what was being used. I used to have a 2003 LS Astra which I absolutely loved to bits, and seeing this be resurrected and shining was amazing.

The dirtier they are, the more you tend to enjoy getting stuck in I find. Always something satisfying about a dirty car. 😂 you're right there. None of us really wish to get in front of the camera but there seems to be a demand for it strangely so it will inevitably have to happen one day! I guess we can build everyone up to the point then just let them down with our radnorshire accents and then people will soon begin to wish they didn't ask 😂 Glad you enjoyed the video, episode 2 coming Sunday 😊

AutoGlanz 😂😂 at one point when the spot cleaning was going on I thought I heard a voice explaining the degreasing effects when cleaning the fuel filler cap or the griffin badge 🤔 Very feint tho 🤣

Great video. Only problem is, after all that work removing all that shit, underneath you find... a Vauxhall Astra lol. On a more serious note though, those gloves you were wearing, are they waterproof and if so where do they come from?

Yep, that's the issue haha. And an ugly Vauxhall at that! We promise, if the series idea takes off we will progress to "more appealing" vehicles. Series 2 vehicle is already lined up, it's slightly better (marginally haha) so at least we have some progression. I'll try and find out with the gloves, they are not mine. I use a waterproof pair of sealskins during the winter, a god send when it's a bit chilly!
