Based off the leaks and rumors, the consistent rumors seems to point out that they're not going to focus at all about Chris going after the BSAA, which is strange considering the cliffhanger from Village. Capcom is particularly known for leaving loose ends unresolved. But if you ask me, I think it's going to be a really good plot for a Revelations 3 game with Chris as the Main character. It looks like they are focusing on something totally new, the year is set in 2025, 4 years after Re 8, and that it's going to take place in South East Asia, particularly inspired by Singapore. With the protagonists starring Leon and Jill. After so many appearances from Chris starting from Re 5 to Re 8 to the CGI movies, and with him slated to appear in the upcoming remakes. I think they're going to sit Chris' out for any new mainline entry for the time being.

@@pinoynobody2329 Right, right. That makes sense, to have Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine make a proper return. Southeast Asia seems particularly good to me. But then again, let's see what plot ideas they have in mind. But of course, we have yet to receive an official title, synopsis and release window for RE9 from Capcom's side, and I do not think they can provide any of that before spring of 2025.

Overusing a character is not a good idea. Look at DC and batman

Terrible take 7 and 8 are some of the best in the franchise. Ethan won’t be showing up because he died but idc if it’s first or third person. Both are fine as long as the game is good.
