The fact that he waits until he's done enough work to post a 20+ minute video full of good content is what makes his channel an absolute gem. It's particularly wonderful when I've watched a 50+ minute video from this channel and it feels like 5 minutes have passed.

you cant find this nowhere in youtube like its so good and relaxing to watch . perfect videos for someone who actualy owns a e46 and wants to upgrade or know a thing or two , i used to have a 330d e46 but it had everything on except for the back curtain and sunroof , i enjoyed that car alot , alot of drifting and 2 years of ride it like its not urs , was very stable , but it got to a point where corrosion was taking over under the car at a fast pace and it was time to say goodbye i sold her for cheap money so someone else can enjoy it while it lasts.

A few tips on sound deadening - youre supposed to flatten it with a roller after sticking on, so it adheres to the metal and conducts vibrations properly, also, so no condensation can form under it, which could lead to rust. For maximum effect, on top of sound deadener, you put 10-15mm of soft sound isolation material (like Silent Coat noise isolator 10). Rear wheel arches usually make the most noise in the boot of wagons, so for good practice is to use thicker sound deadener (4mm) plus some thick soft noise isolator on top. Doing rear arches usually make the most difference. For floor - sound deadener is useful only on outer metal skin, no point sticking it on stuctural beams (which are thick an don't vibrate) or other parts on top of floor. After that, a soft noise isolator on top (like Silent Coat noise isolator 10). If you want it to be silent like an S Class, a third layer of mass loaded vinyl or other heavy dense material (like STP NoiseBlock 3) Also, front wheel arches will benefit most from extra attention. Doors, I did 2mm deadener + STP Accent 10mm (water proof noise isolation), and on the other side of door card I put SIlent Coat absorber 15mm. Did a little bit of difference in cabin noise, but massive difference in how the stereo system sounds.

Those speakers can definitely go "doostdoostdoostdoost" again! You can get a refoam kit. Very common practice for old 1980's-90's hi-fi speakers, because they've all rotted out like that at this point.
@gregorobrez

5:25 yes, you can replace the rubber that is gone, if you find a replacement with correct dimensions (maybe there's a repair kit already available?). you scrape away the old stuff and glue in the new rubber using a "speaker repair adhesive" (available online). keep up the good work, love your videos!

Test the speaker’s health by how close the OHM load is to the value posted on the speaker’s magnet. A variance would indicate possible damage to the cone, it also causes the power draw from the amp to change (inverse relationship between OHM load and power draw) a speaker can sound okay but still be damaged and possibly could short the amp if ignored. More power will also equate to a broader frequency range under normal volumes, not just louder sound. Love your series, you’re so thorough and knowledgeable, and fun to watch. Thank you for all your work

Maybe the spring on passenger side door sits lower on the bottom so when measuring from the top end you did not put the correct load to the spring..thus the motor works after the mirror has stoped moving..All in all really nice upgrades , really suit the no longer cheap daily driver!A also new loved quote “all my twelve fingers”.. I know you are a Beemer guy. Im one myself. But it would be LEGENDARY to see you make a similar series on the W124 (Preferably the proper Inline 6 ones, not the Porsche attempt at fitting a V8 into an R6 platform). That, in my opinion, is one car which deserves this channel's attention.

Hi, just a little hint, when you're installing the sound deadening mats it is REALLY important to press them as firmly as possible with a roller. This diamond shaped pattern is there for a purpose. Ideally it should be gone after installation, that's how hard it should be pressed. Otherwise it would work only partially, as these mats work by changing resonant frequencies of the stuff they are attached to. This is probably why you don't always hear a big change after installing them - you need to press them really hard for them to be able to do their job. Please see for example how this guy did it here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hOCci9Zjt97Ic6c.html
