Really liking the post as in fact, I have a wasteland build. And more, I return to the garage shop as cold bands of rain storm move thru the morning with a refit lathe. I had taken to calling the bike..."stovepipe" as it was a wrecking shop cost at forty bucks. A Honda 550 as 1984 vintage. Just maybe, more as stoplight to stoplight or a venture to some dirt trail...but at full throttle, up thru the gears, amazing acceleration. Shaft drive which is less maint. The paint as over epoxy primer was dull blue green and grey with a skeletal, scene of tree and mad max dull tan to black frame. My riding is only good weather, very short distances and for the pure minded, see the bobber types for what can be done. And, yes I have an 1100cc machine. But sometimes.....light weight and power need to meet just off blacktop or to the store for a pepsi or beer. Humm....interesting lights. I like the color and safety of a dual beam set. What more can be done?

A nice base bike to work with. I have a suzuki sv650s ratter.Nothing wrong with zip ties if they hold solid. Most of my ratter is held together with them. Always keep some extra long ones under the seat for the roadside repairs. Enjoy your build.

I love watching your videos, I'm actually going to UTI/MMI in July to learn in to work on/build bikes. And gonna try making a ratbike while learning in my down time

Buy or borrow a English wheel take some road signs, metal, license plates (I’m sure some of us would contribute a old plate) and bend and weld make a fitting surround (fairing) for the new headlights and windshield.

I love coming up with ideas on the fly. Great job on the headlight mount!

Like the headlight, but I don't like how the buell windscreen blends in to the headlight...

I love it.. it's all about experimenting, fabricating and coming up with your own ideas for that certain look you want. Can't wiat to see the final product, it's gon' be sweet for sure. I do like the bug eye look tho.

I put a 2nd headlight on my rebel and all was good til i hit the flash button trigger thing and held it and blew the fuse and had to drive home in the dark. Now have wired seperate on relays seperate fuses highs and lows. Not gettin caught out like that again. P.s what was that at the end are you a witch or somthing?
