Great video. On a run of these at the moment. Looks easier on the CDi than it is on junior/Si. Tried various methods, found it easiest to take entire hydraulic block out. (On Si & Junior)

Done three of these so far, the by pass pipe is a pig to get apart, last one I did had to remove the return manifold as well and pull it apart outside the boiler, I’ve never removed the gas pipe though, there’s enough room without having to.

Yes , modern taps & rise in mains water pressure at night , hammer the plastic bits over the years , mini expansion vessel on cold feed pipe way to go . :)

These are horrible plastic units. From having hairline cracks to having holes but the are easy to work on.
