I've been on probation before and it's definitely not fun. Mine was for 3yrs but to get it expunged and off my record I had to go a additional 5yrs on my own with no problems. So I did my part and everything was removed. So I know what it feels like to be able to breath again. Congratulations on getting the 170 and getting probation took care of. Kevin, you might want to make a run with the 170 down the 1/4 mile before you tune it up more. I believe it's closer to 1100 horsepower than 1000, and the torque is massive. Racer X did a dyno run, and it put down 900 to the wheels, which is insane. Also, it pulled the wheels easily. Maybe some more suspension work might get you mid 8's, and the motor could get a catless exhaust, giving it more horsepower. Otherwise, the 170 is a beastly machine, and I congratulate you for getting one.

The Direct Connection 3.0L IHI twin-screw supercharger is not any bigger physically than the 2.4L and 2.7L version, it's the rotors that are longer which gives it more displacement. From what I have read this is a direct bolt on to a Hellcat, no hood modifications needed. Whipple's 3L blower is the same dimensions but a better overall unit.
