Tbh, i love both challanger and mustang the same way, i see them as the best car duo. It really broke my heart, owning each of those in my 2 car garage was my dream... it hurt.

But lets not loose sight of the 2.6 second 0-60 and 10 flat 1/4 mile in stock trim/tune/tires...my point was that the demon 170 requires ethenol tune and slicks to get it e.t's....and the Z06 with equal horsepower would easily beat it...and a 900 horse version is coming, just not released yet

My thoughts exactly. Almost nobody is going to hit remotely close to these numbers even on a track. They should have had to foresight to realize an AWD option would have made a far better performance impact.

I believe Demonology changed his engine from the stock Demon Hemi to a Helephant

Those were REAL HEMI HEADS & totally different motor today. They just used the name to sell it.

I just saw one run for the first time at wild horse pass on Friday night, went 9.8 at 139 in 3500' of DA, they ran it against a 2018 Demon as well and that went 129, forgot ET on the 2018 Demon though.

They can all handle...it's a purpose built car for drag racing but you can get it to handle if you put in parts for it ........the Camero is built for the consumer who has everyday duty for it if you want it just for drag racing then go buy the copo Camero for $130,000+ and no Vin and can't be put on the street....same with mustang only Ford doesn't build a purpose built mustang in any version of their car......plus dodge keeps all of their stuff " in house" meaning they don't send it to Carroll Shelby (Ford) for engine build/HP and (GM) sends to lingenfelter for their engines and HP gains.

@@RacerX9 I’ve seen the published numbers Vegas video. Idk if there was unlocked, it’s BS or if it is limited but with acceleration cuts off at 149 but is still accelerating. Back in the Day I had a beretta GT that’s limiter was 116 but on hard acceleration would hit 119 on the digital speedo.

It won't be limited in Drag Mode; if at all. The people he got that information from at Dodge Garage have been misinformed about things in the past.

No one got the demon 170 in their hands... they got the normal demon which is a much much slower and less powerful car

Price out building a engine and transmission, brakes and suspension, super charger cooling system using the best parts and let me know what you get for a price....then price a fully loaded charger and then add labor to put car together for misc parts and hardware....oh and ALL hellcat/demon engines are Dyno ran for 45 mins before they are put into the body on assembly lines.
