My mom is a writer. When Toni Morrison died, she was so sad. I told my mom I was not impressed with Morrison’s work. I’m a Black woman. I would consider Meghan Markle the type of person who ran away from her Blackness for most of her life until it could benefit her. For example, the Royal Family thought it was cool for her to be biracial so all of sudden she was embracing being biracial. Another example is Markle implying the Royal Family was racist at the height of the BLM movement. Meghan clearly doesn’t care to claim her Blackness. When she was an actress, she categorized herself as Caucasian on her resume. I wish people would wake up to the phony that she is.

The fact MM sees herself as an expert in everything is laughable. She has no training/experience in editing, publicity, or writing, but thinks she should be able succeed at everything. She then disregards everything experts say. No wonder the podcast failed.

That's because she's part of the first of the "participation trophy" generations. She never did work to justify any credential she's acquired. Minimal work for her HS & college degree (if she got a degree). She had a blog where she called herself a "working actress" (more like occasional extra). Tig was lifestyle brand fluff - most essays written by others, recipes created by others, and I'd bet that 80% of its followers were bought bots. She probably didn't even hook Hapless by delightful, probably said she missed her period.

Edward Enninful has now been removed as Editor of British Vogue from June 30th. Anna Wintour was unhappy at the outcome of Meghan's guest editing, especially as she leaking info on the edition. It was a disaster. Wintour attempted to come to an agreement with Enninful, that she must have the final word of guest editors. Advertisers complained that the fall in enquiries was considerable. He's been given some vague position elsewhere. I think Enninful let the thought of having Meghan as guest co-author go to his head. She's deadly to brands. Meghan ought to wear a banner which says "buyer beware".
@Wait4me2
@Wait4me2 Жыл бұрын
I kept wondering where Anna Wintour was during this, I thought she was more hands on about what went out under her role as editor in chief. I’m also wondering why, if Megan thought she herself was such hot stuff, she didn’t call up Anna herself to demand that British Vogue be delayed by a day. Could it be that Anna Wintour, as a person who has had such a huge impact on the publishing industry and could have easily been included in Megsy’s special edition was too intimidating to Megan? Lol, I think that Megan is actually very afraid of face to face conversation with anyone who can’t be easily manipulated with her trope. What a loser.

@@Wait4me2 At the time, Dame Anna was not the global content and artistic director at Condé Nast (Vogue's Publisher). She probably had some say in things, but not everything. Also if you know anything about fashion, the September Issue is the most important issue of the year. She was probably incredibly busy doing her job as editor at large of US Vogue. Enninful was her protegé, so she probably trusted him. The September Issue of Forces for Change came out in 2019, Wintour became global director in 2020.

It is interesting that as time passes and Meghan breezes through life, you can see the wake in her passing, as Enninful is Markled, which reinforces Tom Bowers book. We are now seeing the same with Spotify as we did the Royal family & the UK. But here is the most interesting aspect of Ms Markle, her life only really began 19th May 2018, no one delves into her REAL life, most is speculation. Don't think there has been an AMERICAN researcher write an account of Miss Markle and certainly no one except Bill Simmonds\Spotify has dared to call her out, .... Piers Morgan, yep, he dared.

I surmised that Her Grace, Yoko Simpson, chose Dian Fossey, the only dead person on her list, because she really meant to include Jane Goodall (who also has controversies, such as her radical desire to depopulate the world of most people). One can easily imagine the ILSBW saying to the assembled Vogue staff:- “And I want to include that woman who studied monkeys. In Africa. C’mon, people, you know. The monkey-woman!” “Might you mean a primatologist who studies apes, such as gorillas and chimpanzees?” “Yes, monkeys. You must know her; she’s famous!” “Um, there was that woman who worked with gorillas. They made a film about her…” “With Ripley from “Alien”, yes. That’s the one! Add her to the list!”

What I found outstanding about British Vogue, is that they allowed the issue to be about "worlwide" game changers. It should have been about british game changers and focus on the people in the British Isles. Hell, it could have been about British women and women in the commonwealth that have had an impact in society. What a missed opportunity. I've always wondered if she had the "Archetypes" idea in the works before she started a family? She's proven that she'll use family and friends for her own benefit; and not exclusively for financial gains. She also had "things" in the works prior to leaving. Wasn't Prince George's nickname Archie? I know she claimed the idea for the name was a child she allegedly met in Africa or somewhere, but still using the name, even though the future KING of England has an attachment to the name, seems odd and deliberate.

Also, notice in picture with Chelsey, Harry seems to be looking at her with love and a glowing smile…in photos with Meghan, it’s always Meghan doing that fake dead-shark-eyes (like she learned in acting school how to “portray” adoration of someone and so she uses that technique)…never seen Harry gazing at Meghan like he loves her and enjoys seeing her smile. Most photos of Chelsey and Harry also show them having such fun and laughing and really seem to be enjoying life, the event they are at and the people they are with. With Meghan they don’t ever appear to be sharing a joke or a laugh or truly just enjoying visiting with people and she turns every dang event into a person, one-person, Meghan Markel fashion show and merchandise photo shoot. I’m sorry but with Chelsey, Harry seemed to glow with happiness and life…with Meghan his light appears to be getting dimmer and dimmer and he sinks further and further into unhappiness. He is flailing about trying to find a reason for why he’s so unhappy and miserable and I think Meghan has convinced him that his unhappiness isn’t due to their relationship or how he feels about her…she’s convinced him that he’s unhappy because of Al the press and the “unconscious bias” and being “trapped in a racist, colonial monarch as family”…and she probably says “well H, who wouldn’t be just miserable with the life you’ve had and all you’ve had to deal with”. So he accepts her lie and blames all else and is denying the truth - he’s miserable because she is a succubus and is draining the life force and his soul from him.

I think Meghan REALLY believed that Americans envy Britain's royal family, and that she would be a blazing star back here in the US for marrying Harry, as though that's all we have ever wanted was a royal of our very own, and that she'd have everything she ever wanted upon her return here. I think it's all a fantasy she cooked up when she was 9 or so(we know she was plotting since childhood, but I think this particular part of the plan is rooted and stuck in adolescence).

Cheere you are amazing.. I've been thinking a lot about Harry and why he has changed so much. I really think the reason he is so intent on destroying his family is because if he is with her he has to make any and everything before her as something less. As if he never laughed until Meghan. He was never happy until Meghan. He has turned every happy event in his life into something Less in order to elevate his life with her. I find that so sad. He has cut ties with his friends, family, and everyone. All to build his life with Meghan as something other worldly. she has made his whole world Meghan. Yet she gets to keep the people she wants. I'm shocked he can't see this.

I agree with you about Toni Morrison. I can’t remember the first and only one I cracked, but I read the first few chapters and decided it was a waste. Questionable plot, poor organization and writing. Whatever her purported message, it was lost on me. I thought her ignorant, a poor writer with no clear message except for whining about things she had absolutely no control over. It was all about the writer, but she failed to convince. How she ever got a book deal is amazing. That she is celebrated shows the deterioration of our public school education. Critical thinking has been thrown out the window.

Mygosh, that list of game changes is ridiculous!! Plus, it’s British Vogue, to me, one of the first real game changing women that should be named (besides the Queen, the Queen bought in so many incredible changes to the Monarchy over her reign, including racial changes for the better, which I thought would of been right up Meghan’s ally) is Margaret Thatcher, Britains first female Prime Minister. Margaret came from extremely humble beginnings, she broke the ceiling of the “man’s club” in politics. She not only went through a war as a citizen, but, she then later was also at the helm making critical decisions during another war during her time in office. To me, Margaret should of not only been on that list, but, being British Vogue, she should of been at the very top of the list. I’m sorry, I just don’t class actors and models as game changing women and definitely not a women that kidnapped and tortured poachers. I personally despise poachers, but, you deal with them legally, not with the same inhumane mindset of the actual poacher’s by torturing them as they torture and kill poor innocent animals. Two wrongs do not make a right. A game changer would of been re educating a poacher, teaching them to protect animals. Sorry, I’m not sure if what I’m trying to say is making sense, I’m just so cranky when people like Meghan put other people on a pedestal for disgusting behaviour. Meghan has a platform to be able to do wonderful things, yet she wastes that platform and uses it for self promotion, grrrrrrrrrrr, she makes my blood boil. She uses words like kindness towards others, yet, she has never shown any kindness towards others herself. She pulls PR stunts being photographed pretending to be kind, but, it’s all fake, it’s all a smoke screen!!! I apologise for my rant Xxxx
