Heather Wright and I are celebrating National Blueberry Month by doing a blueberry inspired acrylic pouring collaboration! I try two pours in this video. The first is a reverse dip that turned out to be a hideous mess, but the second (an open cup pour) is pretty OK. AND IT SPAWNED TINY BABY BLUEBERRIES!!
Check out Heather's awesome Cloud Kiss Tree Ring Pour on a Spinner!!! Dang!! • Cloud Kiss Tree Ring P... Be sure to subscribe to her channel. She is a down-to-earth, breath of fresh air and an incredibly talented artist!

How I mix paint:
If you are interested in learning how I mix paint, check out this video: • Amazing 2' x 3' Dirty ...
My recipe is 3 parts paint (pebeo studio acrylics) to 1 part pouring medium (half and half Liquitex PM and GAC 800). I then thin it to pouring consistency with a solution made of 1/4 pouring medium and 3/4 water... the paint mixing video shows all this.
When the painting is ready, it will be posted here: www.jennyncolor.com

OMGosh, those colors you did the first painting with were sooooooo gorgeous! I just wanted to eat them up! It was such a surprising fail! You made me laugh... trust me, we've ALL been there with these tremendous fails... I always say we learn better through our failures than our successes! Great comeback with the second painting, it is absolutely gorgeous!!! I can't get over those blueberries, how wonderful!

Narrowing down the cause of a fail just opens up the avenue for success 🤗😉 You definitely got your pretty blueberries! Gorgeous painting, such vivid colors. I like it, a whole lot!!! I always enjoy your videos 🥰 If you’re going to do a painting pertaining to sharks, then it definitely has to include ocean colors. What about the beautiful beaches of Hawaii?!?!

Thank you so much Diane! I really appreciate you watching and sharing the shark video idea! I have decided to do one inspired by St. John in the USVI. We lived in St. Thomas for a while and would go to Maho beach in St. John every weekend. There was a lemon shark that just cruzed the beach in about 3 feet of water, just right up by the shore. He was so cool! I have been thinking about it all day and wishing I could get in the water!! :-)

I was hoping to see you try to make the first dip into a dutch pour. All your colors were under the white, and they may have smeared out with some blowing. Maybe not. I'm no expert. My hubby & I were very impressed with the 2nd attempt. Very pretty!

I wonder what it would have looked like, at the beginning, if you had used a hair dryer to blow it out a bit instead of the balloon squash? Hmmm... It turned out BEE-u-ti-ful at the end!!! 👍🏼👏🏻👏🏻

I think the paint was way to think therefore also too much paint especially the white. Just my guess. I enjoyed laughing with you though...
