I lost my mom on July 2 my dad on July 12 and my husband on July 25, 2021. All in the same month. I’m only strong because what other choice do I have. The sun will come up tomorrow and I am gonna be here. So when “He” just cut me off recently it makes me smile and carry on because I have been through far worse….

Im the little girl whos parents didnt want her. They didnt put me for adoption though, they just left me alone as if i didnt exist. I remember trying to thaw frozen food in my mouth because i was starving... At 8. Now im a year 3 law student and a mommy. My pain never defined me. My parents maltreatment didnt define me. I really needed this today. My husband walked out on our marriage and I recently found out he is involved with someone much younger from his work. I have been here at home with kids while they are all watching me cry almost everyday for the past year. My husband knows I’m struggling which he says he feels bad about, but what it comes down to is this new person is giving him all the attention and praise that was missing from our marriage while I was severely depressed myself. I have learnt when I am hurt I react in a very disregulated way and often say things that I regret later which often leaves me looking unstable and immature. These sort of messages really helps me to refocus and helps me remember that I am responsible for my own feelings and how I chose to react to them and sometimes the best thing I can do when feeling hurt and rejected is to take a step back and focus inwards instead of allowing other people’s actions to determine my emotional state and behaviour which often is completely out of alignment with my own virtues and morals which is generally quite solid and strong. Sorry for the rant, I’m clearly not used to commenting in places like this, but thank you.

My husband wanted out after 40 years of marriage. We got along great, so I was shocked. It was not another woman, he wanted to be alone and move near his son across the country. I told him go, I didn’t show my emotions. I told him I will move forward and make a great life for myself. I never let him see my hurt, I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction. I went no contact even though he wanted to FaceTime me and call all the time. Nope. It’s hard being alone for the first time in my life. No friends or family. But I’m determined. I’m going to start dating and make a good life for myself. You can do it too!

Thankyou very much for being open about it. I am 60 and look back at mistakes i made, and would like to say to you, that the very best thing you can do, is to follow the advice from the video.. And that your kids need you to do this too. They need to see their mum recover snd live in a positive environmrnt because your emotions will affect theirs. Its really best to be the strong stable one, be their anchor, and be grateful you have these kids and let them feel safe at home.. And lived. Yiur husband leaving you has shaken the safety of your home badly enough, and you must rise above it, closing doors will open new ones and the mental health of kids relies on a stable home environment,, so in a way, its our job as mothers to do this, with the knowledge that what a mother projects.. The kids absorb this, so.. What i do is... Clean the house, pit a, warm meal on and be there for them, as positive and stable as you can be.. And do things together which bond yiu and place memories in the bank, so to say...crucial for their inner selves.. Cant be underestimated.. Years csn go by with allowing our own emotions to cripple us... Tbis is wasting time.. By that i mean, that the kids need to see you strong and leading the family and doing things together with laughter and gratitude for the sun rises and falls. And it can be a beautiful world.. It deoends on how we create that Be strong, mental health is reliant on the home generating trust, safety and love.

Although I still love him, I don't feel mad at him anymore. I feel empowered. Take it easy, let your emotions flow but focus on you getting stronger and not on getting him back. I asked a girl out and she said yes but it turned out that her friend was on the phone and said yes for her. Her friend did t even tell her I was dating her now until a few days later and since she wasn’t ready to date me we broke up. That would’ve been fine except it was so awkward for her that she said now she just wants to be friends and now she hasn’t texted me in weeks. I feel like I am in the twilight zone. I was getting ready to sell my homes so I could move to New Jersey and get married to my childhood sweetheart. Everything was great. He expressed his feelings openly, very romantic. Came to California for a week. I was hoping to just enjoy time together. He decided to work all week cleaning up my yard and garage. Very sweet that he wanted to do that. I told him he is amazing and so sweet to do so. But please take it easy, because he was hurting his back. We both are in our 60’s. I took him to the airport, everything was still great. Once arriving, he kept saying pull over here, I was. He jumped out so fast, I said you must want to get home. That’s when he was screaming. Seriously, why? Still not sure. He slammed the door didn’t say goodbye, no kiss nothing. I was dumbfounded. After three days of silence, I texted him asking what was wrong. Why did you get so upset? He called back that night still screaming and complains about the week, how he worked so hard and I had the nerve to say that to him at the airport. Guessing after all we talked about, it’s now over? Wtf? So confused over the whole thing. I would like an answer to what happened. I feel I need closer, and guessing what flipped that switch to make him lose his mind. I know I don’t deserve this. Everything he said before all this happened, was he lying? I am not going to contact him any further. I am thanking God I didn’t sell my homes or move in with him.

My love rejected me the other day because I told him I was sick. I walked away with grace and chose Silence and thought this was preparing me for something Greater than I am. Narcissist's are easy to spot because they will treat you as if you are an inconvenience when you are ill or injured. My rejection was not act of hostility against me. It was only one possible reaction to my stupid and unfair messages, i sent to one of a kindest persons I met in my life. I don't have the comfort to hate her, she was even so kind to me she just wrote "I need a pause, thank you for understanding...". It was a lesson which I will remember to end of my time. A real wake up call. I wasted my life in a very stupid way. Now I have a lot of work to do. I don't know how long it will hurt me so much, but I know that I will not be the same person again anymore.

I destroyed my whole life for one woman. I kept struggling for 12 years. The time she came back in my life I was very much settled. She married me.. after few years she started the drama again. I kept showing my emotions by hurting myself.burning myself, punching walls, crying, being alone for many weeks, leaving jobs, cuts with blades, sitting in cold nights to get sick. I lost a lot of weight, I lost my eyesight. My brain. Fighting with people. Now a day playing online games, spending time in games and sleeping. I have started taking Medicines to recover. Watching these kind of videos to get inner peace and strength. Prayers 💔😊

She has her brothers, sisters and their children. She keep herself busy with the family. May be when she will be needing family she will come back to me. I wonder how heart control the mind. I can move 100s of KGs of weight in the Gym but I can not move on with my heart like this. This is all for that one person. I can treat others as I want. strange but true. 1 week passed, I am doing 12-15 KM walk and some pushups and squats. Hopefully I will be back to my life in 20 days more.

I love to swim in the powerful Pacific surf. Rejection and loss sometimes feels like a wave cresting and washing over you. The hardest losses are like the waves that pin you to the ocean's floor. I left everything behind (except my baby and a backpack) and didn't look back. My love for her inspired me to better myself and go back to school to make a decent life for us. this popped up for me to see just when I needed it. I just got rejected hard today, and was feeling super down. this reminded me of how so many times when I didnt get the outcome that I wanted, and was feeling devastated, down the road something happened or came a long that was so much better for me. I've recently gone through a breakup, and it's my first one ever. She's a lot more mature than me, a lot more experienced in self love, and its seems like she's been through this scenario plenty of times before. I've received a whole ton of advice similar to what this video is trying to accomplish, but I couldn't get past the first hump of rejection. I've been making good progress, but I still couldn't get past the thought of her still possibly caring about me. My husband walked out on me after I made a police complain on domestic violence. That time my daughter supported me. In fact she was happy to see him go. But I kept grieving how my life has been wasted. I was 55 then. Slowly I pulled myself out of it. Now I m happy with myself. I go to my job, do house hold chores, shop for myself and daughter. But strangely I now find that my daughter doesn't care about me. In fact she has become very rude and also verbally abusive. Yet she expects me do all her cooking, provide for all her expenses. She has made it amply clear that she doesn't need my company.. only my contribution. I think I should let her live her life her way. I really cannot find a solution to this. She is nearly twenty now.

Few days back on my birthday, my girlfriend/ex revealed that she was pregnant and told me I wasn't the father and to top the cherry she revealed she had been stringing me along while talking to other men, instead of me snapping and getting angry with the hurt I felt receiving such news, I left in peace till this day... yes I am hurting but finding this video has made me so much better and glad I didn't react with my emotions... Now working on myself to heal and get better.

Wow. Everything you mentioned is spot on. I know my worth and even though people daily do everything to put me down, they will never succeed in making me feel bad about myself. YES!!! I was heartbroken when I was not the chosen candidate for my dream job. Thank goodness. I later learned that the person who got that position was miserable and abused. I’ve dodged the bullet more than once but this experience has never been forgotten

I just wanted to share how this helped me so much. I've been rejected by 14 different romantic interests of mine in the past few years. It had really destroyed my self esteem and how I view myself. This video helped me to stand tall and not be overcome with despair. That and another quote I read recently. "Strong women scare weak men" As a woman who has had to be strong just due to life's traumas, it's an honor that I am strong and resilient. I can stand by myself and though I still wish I had a partner to lean on sometimes, I know that I am capable within myself

That is the dumbest, most pandering quote I've seen. "Strong" women do not scare men, men do not value "strength" in women, they value femininity. Do weak men scare women? Why do you hate weak men if you're so strong? This is something feminists tell themselves, that men are "scared" of their "strength". Y'all are not strong, y'all are just untolerable and loudmouths.

@@zoh2023 By watching videos that blame men for not finding her attractive? Apparently men are weak because they don't find masculinity attractive, go figure. This is not how stoics think. She's supposed to have introspection and realise why she's undesirable, instead of blaming others for being undesirable.

These principles are very similar to how I've interracted to the neurotypical world. They don't like it. It put a target on my back. It made me angry. But now, thanks to your videos, I see I did just fine on my own. Thank you for your videos.

When I needed this the most,it just appeared on my screen,thank you universal forces of life, for giving me courage,wisdom and temperance. I am emerging far stronger and wiser than I could have ever imagined in the face of a marriage breakdown that has been an arena of insults,disrespect,one sided vitriol,fights,destruction of household items,damage to vehicle and threats of repeat of same and virtually a prison for both of us
