I'm Korean and I'm rooting for KG. She just looks like a standard American. I have no hatred for other races. I'm a person of color, too. I thought there would be a lot of girls like KG because JYP said they would make a K-pop girl group as an American, but she's the only one. I don't know much about American culture, but KG has the image of a hip and sociable white girl at school. Most girls like that would be cheerleaders. She seems to be a pretty unusual case. Apart from being evaluated in the competition, I think KG will probably be the most important member. I think it's more important than Camilla.

There are a lot of undertones with this comment, which can be complicated to understand. KG looks like a "standard American" (white) because of many representations over history. You can just say your favorite contestant is KG. There were defenses, but all of the contestants are Americans from the USA. Everyone's perspectives are affected by colonization, but comments like these are where the effects really show.
