I really hope reiza can figure out a way to allow new sounds to be used in car mods. I understand the maddness engine isnt built for that, but there's just got to be some way to at least let us use sounds or cars that came from project cars series... hopefully. It would really limit modding potential to be stuck with only the stock sounds from the game. That's always been a pet peve of mine is when a mod car in AC has a completely wrong engine sound. It would make this game amazing if there was a way to merge all project cars 2 & 3 cars/tracks + automobilista 2 cars/tracks and sim physics. It would almost be like a community made project cars 3, the one we all were promised but never got.

The Projects Cars content can not be used by Reiza, as they don't own those licenses. I agree that AMS2 mods should have their own sounds, and I know the Reiza team have discussed this internally. Only, it seems it would take such a massive overhaul of the Madness engine that it's unlikely to come anytime soon.

As far as I understood in the Discord, yes, it works. Many questions can be answered in the ASM2CM Discord. I hope your errors are known there and they have a solution...

As far as we understood the developer, it indeed is. IF the archive has been well put together, AMS2CM can deal with it. In fact, the liveries you see on the cars in the video were installed via AMS2CM.

The issue here might be that the changes Reiza has done to the Madness engine would mean hard work to get all the details right. Not saying it's impossible tho...

@@WromWrom i was thinking that too. I have faith though! At least they wouldn't have to mess with the vehicle model side of things too much probably. Just fuss with the guts.

Yeah, the graphics side might be very easy. I'd say the graphics were by far the better part of the Madness engine already since PC1.

It was good until it worked. After one failed mod installation it shows error message and doesn't work. Even reinstalling the app doesn't solve the problem.

Did you go to the discord? It's quite low traffic and the developer is always super helpful. Try it!

"Mod manufacturers are making it easier to install their mods" How many mod manufacturers are there? The bells have been thrown into the air... Could you tell me two, just two cars that do not belong to PC 1 and 2 or NFS-Shift 1/2 This seems like it just started but we have been continuing with the same "mods" for more than 6 years

I count at least 5 mod makers off the top of my head, and it's early days (or maybe not, my crystal ball is away for it's "100.000 previsions" inspection) And alone the mods that Charles Robilliard has done are not copied from anywhere - not to speak of the excellent Indycar 2023 mod by Jusk and his buddies. You wanted two? I give you three: Lamborghini SCV12, Indycar 2023, Audi V8 quattro DTM, each by different mod makers. Enjoy!
