Rewriting Miraculous Ladybug! | Bonds Beyond Fate: Second Arc

Күн бұрынMiraculous Ladybug is a show with fundamental issues and its canon origin for the characters does not escape from being problematic. So out of my disappointment, and with a sprinkle of inspiration, I rewrote the origin story into something I think would be more enticing as a show. It is my hope that this version of the story works out some of the frustrations that the current iteration of the show has. Are all of mu changes necessary to make Miraculous Ladybug better? No! The current elements of the show are mostly fine, the execution just needs some help. And there are definitely multiple ways that this story can play out and by different creators that will all be entertaining! Nevertheless, I tampered with the story anyway =P
This is the second arc of Bonds Beyond Fate that consists of parts 11 through 20.

When I heard that Chloe found cleaning supplies in the cabinet and that she saw a dog getting sprayed in the face when it wasn’t behaving I immediately knew where it was going

Wow, I really like the way you wrote both arcs. I love how you balanced out the characters and their stories. One thing I didn’t like about the original series was that it got so focused on the romance that it neglected other characters. While Mari is my favorite character, I love her personality even more here. She isn’t as creepy and there’s much more to her character. Great job! A character I did not know I would get attached to over time was Chloe. This version fleshes her out to make her seem real. We see that she was a kind kid, but the neglect from her parents created this pompous behavior in her in order to get the attention she wanted, whether positive or negative. It was funny to me that the reveal can early, but this choice made the romance more complicated and not as one-sided. There are many times I laughed and teared up while binge watching both arcs in the last two days. It makes me look very much forward to the next arc of your series rewrite. You are very creative. 🍬I love binge videos! I have already seen the first and second arc, so I will be out! However I'm happy that the second arc has a binge option too, since I have a tendency to binge previous seasons/arcs of shows (or in this case your rewrite) when new ones start! Sort of like a recap. 🍬

The drama and personal conflicts were SO engaging, and I love how everyone got their highlights and moments to shine! Thank you so much! ❤️✨ Gabriel might not like to admit it, but he still has affection for Fu, so attacking his adopted father isn't something he wants to do. That, and he knows that Fu won't give him any info.
