Rheumatoid arthritis is a polyarthritis. It is a chronic inflammatory type of arthritis involving wrists and metacarpophalangeal joints. Its a symmetrical disease (O2 antibodies gonti both sides) and it is peripheral not axial. It is worse in the morning as inflammatiry debris is washed out eith activity as the day progresses. RA has high ESR and CRP, as well as Ferritin (an acute ohase reactant) Its more common in females (diseases of O2 immunity are more common in women and diseases of Immunodeficiency are more common in men) . Rheumatoid Factor = IgM against Fc portion of IgG .

I have sypmtoms of both. High esr, crp, neutrophils...but pain in large joints as well as small, plus pain is worse in evening, or after sitting for long periods. No swelling or redness. Pain inproves during movement..any answers? Not got RF result yet...

You can find it, but it’s not that common. Scleritis is more common in RA.

It's possible, but very unlikely...It depends on which factor has the upper hand: the cortisol or the inflammation...If what you said was true, then no one will have inflammation in the morning, which is not true.

Medicosis Perfectionalis I think it the condition was costochondritis -felt like a really sharp pain . A few Months later I had enormous pain in one knee diagnosed as sports injury . Went into the other knee also and low and behold it’s RA!
