These delicious rice balls are always a crowd favorite and are perfect for a family get together or weekend party and can be completely assembled ahead of time. This recipe makes a small amount of ragù to go inside the rice balls, but you can double the recipe to make a larger batch and save some to use as a pasta sauce. I’m Filipino and Puerto Rican, my mom was the Puerto Rican and she made them with Japanese Sushi Rice. That rice is really sticky, she also made a version with mashed potatoes.
