Widely known as the worst game to come out during its time, this biker game aimed to be a Sons of Anarchy GTA type of game. But no. No. What did Deep Silver do?! As the gameplay shows, this hot mess of a shooter game fails spectacularly. Upon the many glitches, bland characters, forced story, and terrible sound design, this Ride to Hell: Retribution review isn't too forgiving. We also take a look at what the game COULD have been. About The Game:
Following an intense tour of duty, Jake Conway returns home from Vietnam to find his brother brutally murdered by a notorious biker gang known as the "Devil's Hand". Obsessed with getting payback, Jake begins his journey hell bent on destruction, intent to catch his brother's killers between the crosshairs of reckoning and vengeance. Set within the 60's legendary era of anarchy, Ride to Hell Retribution is a gritty and raw action adventure that encourages players to open up the throttle and rule the highways as they ride a warpath to revenge.

"107 Hours of total playtime" Jirard, those hours aren't "playtime". The correct word you're looking for is "torture". "107 Hours of total torture" sounds like the correct way to describe your experience.

I learned something. I learned that I have even more respect for you after willingly suffering that steaming pile of poo. It sounds like you should have resurrected your "Burn it" rating for this game as a rating lower than "Donate it" since saving someone from an atrocity is worse than passing it off to someone else to experience.

I think I said something to that effect on a previous video: "Look at it" should really be a worse rating than "Donate it." If you're looking at it, that means it's safe in your hands, and there won't ever be the risk of someone obtaining it who doesn't know any better.

@@LuisMane1 If I remember right, at the time I read the article my game purchases were mostly determined by my parents, so I never actually bought it. (Though I can see how you'd think I did from what I wrote.) But with how much the game changed between announcement and release, I doubt I would have bought it anyway.

just saying that if someone used the original idea they had for this game basically working up the ranks from a prospect in a biker game to the top but rename the game and rename the gangs a shit no one would be able to tell this game and this other theoretical game had the same original idea. Plus I guaranty that if someone makes a game using the original concept it could be decent if they get a good art team and the right music licenses, theoretically of course

Another thing that bugs me about this game: it says in loading screen tips that you unlock the bikes of bosses after you beat them. But when you beat the whole game, not a single one of the locked bikes in the garage open up to you. The one thing to unlock in the game and it doesn't even fucking work.

Jirard? Buddy? You okay man? You know, I just wanted to talk to you for a few minutes man. Don't take this the wrong way, but you're showing a lot of the early signs of becoming addicted to bad games. I know they're fun every once in a while - you can get a laugh out of Sonic 06 or the other thirty terrible ones, but those are the gateway games... You play a bit here, a bit there, but eventually they just aren't bad enough. One day, your mustachioed game dealer offers you a hit of Ride to Hell, and it's a rush like never before. Next thing you know man, you'll be Completing early access asset flips off Steam, and it'll already be too late to stop. Just look what happened to Jim Sterling - poor thing can't go more than a day without a hit of Early Access.

15:35 Actually, you being sent back isn't a random occurrence; the game will do so if at any point in time, you move backwards What IS random is that once you reset, there's a chnace you'll just straight-up explode

I think "donate it" is broken. I mean maybe keep it, but some games should be burned. like that one. I mean Sonic and the secret ring? that's a bad game, but someone might like it. THIS? nope. the world doesn't need it, and whoever will get it will have a bad time guaranteed. just burn it... for the sake of us all...

His review of Secret Rings was totally bad-faith, bandwagony, and unfair anyway, despite how much I generally like his videos. Secret Rings is an underappreciated gem and it does not deserve to be anywhere _near_ the same tier as this.

Thanks jirard for the constant work you do for us by completing games for us and making stellar videos about it! Thanks to doing this I finally completed a game for the first time i.e. Found every single item, completed every single side quest and completed every achievement. It's the first time I ever got a platinum trophy on my PS4 and that game was Final Fantasy 7. I don't know if I'll continue doing this as it takes a lot of time and effort but that was the most worthy of completing game to ever do. It even was one of the first games I started playing on my KZfaq channel (where I did most of the completion.)

I just realized, the boots section uses a different way for the number placements. It goes #5, 4th, III (Roman numerals), Too (or two) and Numero Uno.

... I think you need to play a few good games now, to restore confidence in why you do your job. Maybe Sonic Colors or Generations.... The Stanley Parable,or Kid Icarus Uprising. Or maybe some more Kirby games.... I don't think any of those turned out bad.

Stanley Parable isn't a good game. It's a guy with a vaguely British accent telling you to do a bunch of tedious tasks by pressing W and very, VERY occasional one other button, like E.

PhoeniksoftheStorm Could be, but there exist people that get grey hairs very early on in their lives. My cousin has them and she's only 26, and her dad started getting them at 28, and he's 52 now. It could be a genetic thing.

get over it dude, let's face it that the one thing that drew us to return to rapture, was that we KNEW we was gonna be a Big Daddy, and for a lot of us that was enough to warrant a sequel, but the truth is that the sequel didnt really bring out that much in the way of new content, it was very much a Bioshock 1.5

Honestly, the only thing that this game actual have that in the slightest bit of interesting is the "world that was made out of satellite data." (Jirard said) Only by that moment (3:05-3:09) was I interested in the exploration part to play this as a joke. After my nap I when back to see the last part I remembered and with all the bugs it just doesn't seem good to even try that.

This game reminds me of Mace Griffin for the PS2. It looks great, has a cool universe and a sweet open world. Is what they intended. What we got was a highly linear game where side quests are fused into the main quest alongside bizarre bugs.
