Not a fan of splashing moisture while riding your Ridley Kanzo Alu? Then opt for our special fenders/mudguards! We have prepared the following step-by-step guide for the installation of the mudguards.
Required tools:
- 2.5mm Allen key
- 3mm Allen key
- 4mm allen key
- 6mm Allen key
- 10mm wrench
- T25 torx wrench
In advance:
- It's advisable to place the bicycle on a mounting stand before you begin. It's also necessary to remove the two wheels from the bicycle.
Step-by-step guide:
Rear fender:
1: Insert the torx screws in the fender bracket connection part
2: Insert the two longer fender brackets in the connection part
3: Tighten the torx screws of the connection parts
4: Install the bracket preassembly at the outside of the seat stays bike using the M4x15mm bolts
5: Install the white rubbers on the inside of the mudguard and click the bracket clamps in from the outside.
6: Mount the mudguard on the brackets
7: Install the M4x10mm screw in the seat tube
8: Install rear wheel
Front fender:
9: Connect the bracket mounts together
10: Install the M3x6mm bolts and M3 nut in the bracket mounts
Attention: Make sure you install them in opposite direction on both mount to be able to face te bolts outwards on both side of the fork
11: Insert the short bracket in the bracket mounts
12: Insert the M4x15mm bolts in the bracket mounts using the lock washers
13: Install the mudguard on the fork using the threaded hole near the dropouts
14: Install the white rubber on the inside of the mudguard end ,click the bracket clamp in from the outside.
15: Mount the mudguard on the bracket
16: Insert the M4x10 bolt on the front of the fork
17: Install the front wheel
