The defendant says the plaintiff was just a recurring guest who promoted items. He asserts he never promised to pay him.

This is why it is important to have a contract, in writing, so you know if you are getting paid, how much and how often you are to work for the client.

We're not completely sure the generation before us got it right and then we blink and see our nieces and nephews with kids teaching them some crap that they just came up with in their own heads ,cause they think all from the last is junk...🤪😳 Not even with the true meaning of what or why things are the way they are and how they came about. This guy has no case. Having been involved in radio at one point, I can GUARANTEE you that, if you weren't hired by the station itself (or the production company in the case of a syndicated show) you are NOT getting paid. Furthermore, I'd bet the plaintiff was fully aware of it, and just decided afterwards that he SHOULD HAVE been paid.
