In keeping with the spirit of why we pursued our dreams as music artists, and the positive impact we aspired to have on others, we decided to make this video with some of our closest friends in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and all of our fans who love unconditionally and see no barriers. Agreed. Mitch is so consistent. Not to take away from Mary Lambert, and even though she's collaborated with a popular artist, and people might know her more from that, than they might know Mitch. In comparison to her vocals, his voice has so much life and drive. It's not even the singing style differences.

Thank you I'm still healing. I think I always will be but I'm so grateful for your love and prayers. Today is my birthday and its so special to me because I'm here. I lost 12 of my friends June 12th last year. I wish they were here with me to celebrate our lives but the rest of the world will celebrate with me and thats comforting. Spread the love and dont forget to always hold your family close and the ones you love. Always live out your days like there is no time to waste because honey you never know. BE SAFE and be inspired! We are all God. I love everyone like I love him because we are all him and he loves us all equally and unconditionally no matter if you call him God, Allah, Buddha, Ra, or the great rock in the garden. I now proudly wear the word RISE on a ring that I rarely remove. As someone battling chronic disease, neurological and psychological disorders, a disease that could well cause premature death, bullied throughout school; my "final nail" has been in countless times, I have wanted to give it all up and stop fighting but I keep rising because I'll damn myself if my adversities beat me. The world can screw me over and expect me to stay doen but I'm going to keep rising because I'm stronger than the shitshow I've lived through.

When I was in chorus, and we had to hold a very long note it was a very easy trick to pull. What they do is they take very short breath's while the others keep singing. Honestly you wouldn't know if one of them took a one second break to take a breath.

My mother lost her father, she still kept working and coming home to take care of me. She Rose My sister had a sickness, the doctors though she couldn't do things and at sometimes not survive. She proved them wrong by doing amazing things and surviving until an outstanding 10 years old. She rose My father lost a daughter, yet I have never seen him give up on anything in his life, he wants to make sure I do that. He rose I lost my very best friend and only sister, and I may be lonely, but I try to entertain myself, I try to make my parents happy, when someone around me is sad I make them happy again. I rose It is amazing to think, after all that you can still rise up to challenges, but you can if you try. Don't just survive, Rise.

I have been consistently working on healing, and becoming positive. So in a way she is still with me. Thank you Glitter Girl for your added light in this world.

I cannot thank you all enough for doing this cover. I listen to this daily. Several times a day. Your version speaks to our souls. To our inner core. On so many levels and for so many reasons. I feel this is better than the original. I love Katy Perry,but, her version was nebulous and meaningless in it's presentation. Sure, they used pretty colors, but, it had no visceral meaning to connect to when hearing or watching it. Your version, instantly connects and resonates with everyone who is lucky to hear it. Your voices are each stellar. Your harmony is so tight, yet, no one drowns anyone else out. I just love you all

And every single time, my breath comes short and my eyes flood over and I couldn't speak if you paid me. This is a triumph over adversity and hatred. It's stunningly powerful.
