Nice one Terry, I already have a commercially made cleaning jar but what it DOESN’T have is the wadding inside....nice idea, and I will be adding some to mine.

Hi tommo, I actually had this jar/pot made for a while and finally decided to put the video together. Glad you could pick up an idea from it. Thanks for stopping by! Terry

Hey Terry - with as much shredded paper as the jar holds, do you even need a bolt/nut to cover the hole on top? Seems like the paper will absorb any spray well before it gets to the hole. What a GREAT idea!

Hi Thom! Yeah, you could probably get away without the nut/bolt. But you definitely need some sort of a vent hole. Glad you like it, thanks for watching and commenting! Terry

@@PennCentral99 Copy that on the vent hole. Unless.. you know, I've got that old IHC (junk) steam engine that I always wanted to make an 'exploded boiler' diorama...

I see a project in my future. Nice little homemade cleaning pot. If you have the stuff, why not make one? I made my own wheel masks out of some styrene I had laying around.

Hi Todd! That's the way I look at it. Several years ago, my wife bought me a cleaning pot. I wasn't overly impressed and for the price, thought, I can build one.......better. So I returned it and found everyday household materials and built one. Would be cool to see your wheel mask. Terry

Hey. When did they stop making mayonnaise jars out of glass? Thanks for the pointer. New airbrusher here.
@PennCentral994 жыл бұрын
Not sure what year, but plastic mayo containers have been on the shelves for a while. Don't worry, some manufacturer's still put theirs in glass. Let me know if you have any questions about airbrushing. I'm not an expert, but I can let you know "what not to do". Thanks!
