3 ай бұрынOur adventure continues through countryside and a town named Kirkcudbright. A quiet night stop over in a forest centre car park. We stayed at the birthplace of John Paul Jones, Father of the USA Navy the previous night. Mandy told us how to pronounce the name Kirkcudbright and it is NOT Kirk Cud Bright with its little fishing harbour.

Hi Michael, we went there a nice place. We visited McLellan's Castle, just from the outside as it was closed for repairs. Kindest regards Jeremy.

Very interesting. Some of the filming of the 1973 Edward Woodwood film The Wicker Man ( one of my fav films) was filmed in Kirkcudbright .👍. Bit worried about part 3 though. Hope all was ok.
