That's friggin cool! I've never seen ribbon rail delivered by road before! Around here it's not unusual to see it on a long string of railroad cars,but never on a tractor trailer before!

They are still delivered by road to the construction site. Such trucks are used on the construction site to get the first rails in place.

So the rails are welded and the strings are about 410' long. There's a mill in Indiana, USA called SDI that makes continuous rails 400' long. Three welds in a 1600' string.

under every guaranty they will not go 100kph with a 300t transport at a lenght of 125m! this is a railtransport only on a construction site for high speed railroad. no curves to drive, no public roads

Road trains are normal in Australia. In Europe they are rarely used. Here they have to transport long rails. This is Austria, NOT Australia. I remember an US citizen living in Austria complaining his mail being sent to Australia.

It's only driving on construction site road. Austria is a small country in the alps, where nearly no public roads existing, where this monster can drive. And even such a construction site road, even and curveless enough for this road train is only possible there in some parts of the country, mostly the eastern part. So it will never see other cars in normal traffic.
