I did 1500km this weekend in my Ioniq and spend about 22h on the road of which 15h driving. A total of 11 stops, 240kWh and 50 Euro.

@@marcsimmonds5483 in this video it looks so easy to use EV. In Eastern Europe rarely there are any chargers and 50kw is max, so it would be quite challenging road trip :)

Thanks again Bjorn for your great road trips. This would be my perfect job. Thank you for the in depth detail. Hopefully more shops will be built round chargers and even hotels to make long journeys a lot more comfortable.

Same say, when he say shieeeeeet, he's saying it at normal speed, it's the universe that slows down to 0.25x speed. And that his Model 3 is the only side-wheel drive Tesla ever known to have existed. All we know is, he's KiaBjorn

Bjorn, nice video, but it would be nice at the end of the trip to say how much the trip cost for the electricity that you have used, if different charges then cost per charger perKM please. 👍

Looks like the car slows charging once the battery warms up - in the 1st version you can only fast charge 1/day before the battery warms up too much, and there's a few ppl who had their battery replaced because of high degradation because of it.

Range from 100% Charge Dropping. I have KIA Soul 2020. The car is driven 8000km. It has given me around 425km range when charged 100% but the last 4 100% charges have given me only a 375km range. There has been no significant temperature change (I live in Iceland) I would have thought that the decrease in the range should be more gradual but not in big jumps. What do you think?

If you are anyway in Rødekro, there is only 25 minutes to even cheaper shopping in Germany..... 😉 Nice car - seriously considering this one instead of waiting a year for the e-Niro and Model 3 i opted out due to Teslas financial trouble (warranty concerns).

Wish you’d test all the EV’s on autobahn too and test how long till they overheat and how fast they go, you were so close to the border would’ve been even more entertaining but another amazing road trip video can’t get enough of these

Aerodynamics seems like a major issue with the Soul for longer trips. As a local commuter car it doesn’t matter so much.

I live in norway btw. Ionity is spreading while chademos are disappearing.. I also experienced rapidgate when i drove oslo to kristiansand on a 25celsius sunny day.
