What are the best tires for use with this setup? Bell 26" Comfort Cruiser Flat Resistance tires seem to be the ones some folk with friction drive setups tend to swear by. Is this kit universal, in that any motor will work on it? Thanks for posting.

We really want a friction style bike but have always been deathly afraid of the flat-factor. Are you up to speed on any airless solid tires available today that would work with the traction kit? Thanks

We've always called "Snap rings" "Jesus Clips" Because when you lose them, you shout "Awe Jesus I lost it!"....said that many times.

If you spend enough on a good set of snap ring pliers...they become just snap-rings again. Trouble is they coat too darn much...Jeez...

I know some people can't physically or are mechanically inclined I should say to build there own but the kit kind of takes away the purpose to have a unique weed eater/chainsaw bike

I think you may need a driving licence and insurance, but I'm not certain about that. What I do know is, if the bicycle is assisted by the motor beyond 25.5km/ph, yes you certainly do.

This system of transmission is more bad for the tire.

Yes but not nearly as bad as everyone would make you believe. You can get 2000-3000 miles off the right tire. Friction drive just does not work well with a knobby. And there are no chains, sprockets or extra weight involved. The whole thing with a 2 stroke engine can weight under 10 pounds. Maybe even less.

Nope...most of the newer 2 and 4 stroke engines are DEQ/EPA approved. They put out very little emissions. Of course the better engines cost...a lot more. Like $400 or more. Unsure what emissions the knock-offs produce though...they seem right out of the 80's.

Yeah this is a weed whacker engine..... do you really think that costs 400 bucks? With out direct injection these 2 strokes will put out way more hydro carbons than a car

I have GX50 also and it also does Mach 2.5 but my Zenoah g43 does Mach 3.

Sounds noisy- why is the rider not wearing any type of helmet at all, whether a bike helmet, or even an open-face motorcycle helmet? Lack of imagination, or a death wish? Are the brakes up to the task? Are the bicycle tyres ok for the speed attained? Just asking.
