Morrisey used to always say random crazy stuff in interviews, as far as i know one journalist provoked him into saying that he would shoot Robert Smith dead if he could. Robert responded saying that he would rather be dead than listening to the Smiths music. I think recently Morrisey was asked about it and said that he didn't mean any of that and was just being random (as always). Other than that they didn't really interact or care about eachother, but it's funny to think that they are enemies
