Same thing happened to me when my bf passed away, we were together 12 years. When he got sick everyone stayed away even close family, but as soon as he died, everyone wanted to rip apart our house to see if he had a will. He told everyone his last wishes. But greed set in everyone, people who didn't matter all tried to get a piece. It was me and my kids that took the heat from everyone talking crap.

I had a dream where the Lord showed me a friend talking behind my back to another woman. I heard every single word. Iwoke up and couldn't believe it.. she was always smiling complimenting me wanting to know all my business...I confronted her without revealing that I knew about it in the dream and she thought the other lady told me so she went on to argue with the other lady I saw in the dream...the lady was surprised as she never spoke with me...I just walked away thanking God for making me aware and protecting my life.... It's sad but this broadcast is very true and I am reminded again.

I've recently taught a class on friendship. What I've found is that people psychologically make people their friends by force (LOL).... then get mad or are disappointed when the "love" or level of effort they're putting in isn't reciprocated. We often times blame the other person, when it's us with the problem. We can't make someone like us or want to be our friend.
@ericwalter65046 жыл бұрын
zondra wilson jeeesus! That's good right there! I see in my life that tendency in my self. I give give give expecting n hoping for it to be reciprocated, but they be like 'that's your fault, I never asked for all that!' Type thing. N it's ridiculous why I've continued in this manner for such a long time. Blake's talk of levels is important in this regard

After watching this video, I realize that Jesus is my only friend. Please pray for me pastor R.C. because even though I have no friends I also realized that I haven't been the best friend myself at times, and friendship is a two way street
@your.beautiful.mind.now.2 жыл бұрын
This spoke DIRECTLY to me. I am on a break from friendships for now. I got ghosted by a "friend" when I refused to cosign her toxicity. I loved her. Cared for her. Prayed for her. She checked out as a friend up until I started to have success in my marriage. As long as my husband and I were at odds, she was there when I was down. The moment my husband began to truly surrender his will to God and we moved to a different state, she began secretly competing with me, then eventually cut me off when the mirroring didn't work out. My first mistake was being there for her after she got divorced before she began her healing journey. I should have been way more protective of my space like you said Bishop. I got comfortable way too quickly because I've known her pretty much all my life... or so I thought. Now I'm in recovery. Even though she broke me, I am not shattered, and I still love her like she were a sister. I just can't turn it off. There are days I feel deep anger towards her, but then I have to re-forgive her all over again. Truth is anyone that was never really taught how to value another person has no idea how to be a true friend. All they know is trauma-bonding and discarding. This lesson was DEAD on point, but it triggered a space in me that God and I have to do more work in. I developed social anxiety due to this. Afraid to make friends because I don't trust my own ability to discern friend from foe, and now I don't trust others to reciprocate the level of loyalty I offer. It takes vulnerability to give and recieve. This will take me some time, but I know Yah will work this out in me. Until then, I will just claim my healing!

Real friends take time to understand you when you going through something . Real friends don't disrespect you are your kids . Real friends don't manipulate you. Real friends are hard to come by today. I asked God to do inventory in my life and evidently even in friendships we aren't to be unequally yoked. God told me leave them alone cause they wasnt right for me and one was a person I hung with off and on for 34 years only to find out wasnt a true friend at all. In my culture, there's a superstition that whatever you face is life is largely because of what you choose in heaven (predestination). Some chose wealth, some good marriage, some good friends. If you didn't choose friends,no matter how much you sacrifice for your friends they'd end up hurting you. While if you chose good friends, even with the most annoying xter, friends will throng around(we all know some). Well, what do I know, it's just a superstition. Maybe you chose good friends (lol). I wish you the best ma'am, wishing I did because no matter how much I sacrifice, I don't get it back. But I have where I shine tho😘😘😘

I want to bring up a certain type of person. The type that ONLY comes around when you are down. There are people that thrive on being around when you're at your worst. @Tranquil Vibes Jesus is my #1 Ride died but we need good ride died friends(the bible talks about we need good friends, it spiritual "WE" help each other as we work on our relationship and grow in God.) we weren't created to be alone If so God wouldn't give us family , relationships ect. Remember the topic he is talking About relationships/friendship with others it's not a question about my relationship with God. Take care Peace and ❤️

I ended up letting someone into my life who was a true wolf dressed in sheep's clothing. I befriended a wonderful seeming woman online. Due to poor health, online friends or long distance friends by phone were all I had. We chatted everyday. I developed a strong connection to her. Once she realized I cared about her. Her behavior started to change. I noticed the odd critical remark. The odd lie. She seemed like a different person. The friendship ultimately deteriorated and she took advantage of my kindness. Acting aggressive, mocking me behind the scenes. Trying to chip away at my self-esteem. She was a covert narcissist. And she wreaked havoc in my life. She targets people online to take down like this.
@bee123553 жыл бұрын
Classic covert narcissist. Good for you, you let her go. I have a so called “friend” who is a covert narcissist. He is always trying to devalue me and put me down. All her comments to me is to try and break me. The man even criticized my smoke detectors. Now I know he is a narcissist, I know how to deal with him. I limit my interaction with him.

A friend is a person who always has your best interest in mind, they make you better because there in your life, and they stick around when things get tough. Real friends are not made they are discovered. Friendship is a natural resource that cannot be fabricated.

Proximity means nearness in space time and in relationship it does not mean unity it does not mean confidant it does not mean that they are on your team they are only just in your space for a time period in a certain designated relationship. we have to recognize our relationships and understand relationship purpose and deal with them accordingly to THAT purpose we are there in. I’m learning

Yeah some people are so much like chameleons so you never pick up their ingrained traits of jealousy and feeding of bad times happening in your life. definitely, everyone is different so you can have a friend who is expressive but the trait is controlled with sensitivity and genuine care overriding their jealousy most of the time. But the ones who are deceitful and secretive in expressing how they feel to you but openly hating you to others that's time to watch like a hawk

I hear ya....Esp in this era, Jesus says ppl's hearts will wax colder, and a lot of those that you think are close and have your back, are the very ones that bring you down at an opportune time, they can recognize a call/anointing on your life and are threatened by you, when they see you down, that is when they come in for the kill. I have learnt the hard way myself, over and over, I learnt some valuable lessons through it through, what doesn't kill you does shape and grow you, I'm none the wiser and have learnt to guard my heart and be more observant, still waiting on God to knit me to the right people in due season. But we all need to learn these lessons sometimes, that is when we truly know how to Guard our hearts and trust in Gods timing to bring us a true friend. Yahweh bless you

You are telling the truth. I went through with people I trusted. Now, I observe and pay attention of someone's doing and saying. Before it get any worst, I cut the person off fast. I will go 👻. They always say, "What happened?"

Thanks for this video.... I really needed to watch this. I just recently cut off a friend of 17 years off. I often worry if I done the right thing, but this is confirmation that I've made the right decision . After that experience....... Now I'm at the point in my life where I don't seek New friendships nor the existing friends I do have I keep at a distance.

I've always said this. I have one true friend. We just drifted into friendship. She's awesome. She's here for me when no one else (including family) isn't. I once tried to reconnect with a long lost "friend". That's when I found out she was never my friend. The things she said and did when I tried to reconnect were horrible. All because her life was in shambles and I am happy. I won't go into detail (too much to discuss). She destroyed her own happiness by bad decisions. I just walked away.

I reconnected with a friend from high school after 20 years. I guess I thought we would just go back to where we were 20 years ago…wrong. I am doing well career wise, and she made some bad choices. She told me her sob story and asked for money. I sent it to her, but the following month she asked for money again. I realize that this was going to be a monthly thing. It is not my responsibility to financially support you. I didn’t give it and she kept away from me. A few years later her father died and she sent me a message on Facebook asking for money to help with his funeral. Because I have a good heart, I sent her the money. I haven’t heard from her since. I guess she will reach out again when she is in need.

8:40 My Lord colleagues & church members are not your friends they are in proximity of you. Everyone is not your friend & be careful who you tell your personal business to. Just because your friendly towards someone doesn't mean they are going to react the same way.

Bishop, I really have needed this. Most of us do not know how to judge our friends to be appropriate!! ALL of this is good. I had a friend for 10 years and I think she even practiced witchcraft against me. This is very important information. I'm 63 and lvwas friends with a woman who is 75 in a few months. I praise God she is no longer in my life. God made a way for me to find out. I want to use what I have learned, to help others. Yes I know only a few people on FB. I decided to add a lot of people who are siblings from my high school graduating class. Since I went to Catholic School and in this world, it is so different than other environments. This is such a great video!!! You ARE A BLESSING!!!

Thank you, the word ‘friend’ has been dishonoured and badly used, especially in marketing. It is so sad and tiring, to see. Years ago, when I was volunteering to teach English, to refugees and migrants, something happened, which caused me to think, further. A man in class asked about friendship. He found this attitude of friendliness, so prominent, yet not so real, very confusing, in his new environment. He came from a war wrecked country, in Africa. For my own story, then unfolding, I listened with care, I well understood his dilemma. As the teacher explained more, I listened to both her, and listened harder, to his confusion. Thank you for this, as I have listened to the very many truths, of which you speak, and feel far less, alone. Powerful teaching, and much needed, I am so pleased you are here, and I ‘stumbled’ upon this. Not so, also understanding better, ‘there are no accidents’... so refreshing, making some much sense. How this, is needed. Thank you once more...🌷💕🌷
