Off Camera Flash Photography Setups is made to take you through a real world, working photographer's session, Like how I use my Godox AD200 and softbox. I aim to share all information on camera, lens selection, flash details and light modifiers used to help you build an understanding of how to create these images yourself. Each new location, subject, story, and client combine for a unique outcome. I discuss client goals, the creative process of progressively building an image, and the random challenges that occur when shooting on location. I also describe the use case of the images (print, billboard, digital advertising, etc.) and how that affects the work.
In this episode I photograph a student studying in the library. In the first scene I use a 32" Grand Box Pro with a Godox AD200 as the key light. I use another AD200 with the Magmod Magbeam + Magmask to light the books in the background. I follow up with some telephoto portraits using the Sony 135mm F/1.8 GMaster lens down a narrow aisle between bookshelves.
