As a guy who worked as a cocinero for almost two decades, I was sorta hoping she'd mention Food Wars / Shokugeki no Soma. The concepts and principles discussed there are legit. Definitely one of the best (if not,*the* best) food manga/anime ever made.

OK - Iskeai Shokudou! A western restaurant in Japan once a week has its door open to another world. Fantasy characters come in to be impressed by amazing foods such as spaghetti, hamburg steak, and cold beer. Technically a LN first, but there's manga and anime adaptations.

Well I’ll throw in my own recommendation: Isekai Ekisha no Kissaten. A man and his wife are transported to another world and his wife is turned into a catgirl with no memories of her former life. Together they work at a train station cafe serving Nagoya cuisine to customers who stop by the station.
