Still way too fast in terms of number of graphics changes per (counts...) second. When you're running super-fast visuals, it makes it harder to keep up with the important thing - the fast dialog. Same reason they got rid of the 145bpm demo audio track for Doom Eternal back in the day. Backgrounds still confusing, they don't seem to add anything visually and just distract.

This is the kind of stuff that makes me really want to give this game a try. It actually sounds like a decent homage that captures the spirit of the movies. Most of the other reviews have all focused on how dull it was that random punks dumping magazines into you can't even make your health tick down and that you can just one-hit kill most enemies with melee. But... that's kinda the point. He's Robocop. He's a walking tank stomping around an absurdist capitalist hellhole and shooting bad guys in the dick in between writing traffic tickets.
@chriswihulu

@@pirojfmifhghek566 should just send a link of the scene, where the fully mobilized police force, unloads an average of two or three clips of automatic fire on him, to every reviewer who thought RoboCop was unrealistic hard to kill. I wanna give some positive feedback about the sponsorship timing! Having it at the end, but also giving 2 or 3 beats for the abruptness of the ending music to land works perfectly, it doesn’t mess with the flow or pacing of the episode, it lets Yahtzee do his thing and then it gets to the sponsorship. I remember some of the experimentation with sponsorship placement back at The Other Place, and this is a great spot to put it!

Big agree! If nobody had commented on this, I was going to. It finally feels like the 'right' place to put it for flow. A second or two for the music cue to slam in and then running through the sponsor verbiage over the music and then transitioning to patrons/credits all worked really, really well. I hope it does what you need it to do from an engagement standpoint because I can't see it working well anywhere else, especially after seeing some of the fails earlier this year.

Just got made aware of this channel from QosmicVoid's video on the fall of The Escapist and Qosmic stroking Yahtzee's massive, well-earned ego. I am a long-time Zero Punctuation fan, and was heartbroken to hear about it's fall. So much so, that I withdrew from the discussion entirely, for fear of tainting my nostalgia of the series I loved growing up. I read Mogworld more times than I remember, and have a special place in my heart for Jam, and when I saw a video done in the Zeeo Punctuation style by Qosmic, I thought it would be a good book-end to that chapter of my past. But nope, here we are, back on the train of wonderful content, wonderful creators, and sticking it to corporations that don't care about the lifeblood of their own company. It makes me so happy, seeing you all didn't give up, or were forced to stop. I doubt this comment will be seen, and if it is, you'd need to be some kind of Buddhist saint to read through my drivel, but if you do and you did, I want to say, from the bottom of my heart: Thank you for being an inspiration to so many. You lot are champions in my eyes; people defiantly striking out against the unjust, while still doing the things you not only love, but that we love too. Thank you so much. Judging by the stream of this game you guys did on Second Wind Live the AI was given the least amount of thought in certain spaces. There were moments where dudes were just slowly advancing at the human-shaped tank that is RoboCop like they were immortal. There was also this NPC squad of SWAT officers that leisurely strolled, guns ready, through the building with all the veracity of a bunch of hand puppets (offset comedically by the very earnest clips of their voiced dialouge). All that said, jank or not, it's probably the most effective and streamlined "power fantasy movie franchise tie-in game" ever released (apart from the original Spider Man 2)
