Hi All! In today’s video we explore a ton of mark making techniques and I provide some inspiration for various ways to layer paint on your Gelli ® Plate using some unconventional tools such as plastic key cards and palette knives! Using these tools vs the traditional brayer will give you more options on your Gelli® plate plus some unique texture and finishes. A staple of my mixed media art is mark making and I especially love using these elements in collage and art journaling. Start thinking outside of the box on what other types of unconventional tools you can use to achieve unique marks on your plate!

Great ideas for inexpensive tools for MARK MAKING! Love watching these videos that not only show simple yet effective ways to make marks but also they give inspiration. I now keep everything I do even if it’s a “mistake” because I know I can use various ways to bring it back to life. This is my biggest takeaway from watching your Gelli print videos. 😄
