A playthrough of the LEGO Rock Raiders custom levels "Alone" and "Water Park", maps made by Retsnom Kcor (‪@RetsnomKcor‬) in 2009.
Alone and Water Park are original maps, numbered to replace The Path To Power and Driller NIght! respectively. Alone has a long series of pathways a Rock Raider is intended to travel through to find a lost HQ, with an objective of 200 crystals. Water Park is a sandbox level containing large lake with islands the player is meant to explore.
However, Water Park is impossible to complete, as there are not enough resources on the starting island; debug keys were used to mine out the entire level, which was then quit. Additionally, a custom NPL file was used to complete Alone, and the placement of some Rock Raiders that had been in solid rock was fixed.
Review: Neither of these maps feel finished. Water Park especially is impossible to do anything in, and doesn't even have a CryOre map. Alone also is easy to complete by simply building a Tool Store and blasting through the nearby hard rock. Both maps have some good ideas, I like the concept of Alone especially, though the game's AI might have made Water Park hard.
These are the final surviving maps from the original Zetaboards version of Rock Raiders United. 23 other maps are currently still lost.
