A playthrough of the LEGO Rock Raiders custom levels "Compression Factor" and "Gephyrophobia", two maps made by RockmoddeR in 2011.
Compression Factor (aka Pr0 Map #1) is a replacement for Rocky Horror, consisting of a number of small, tightly-packed caverns. The objective is unchanged. The original Rock world texture has been replaced by a custom rock texture by Amauros. The Tunnel Transport is required to complete this map.
Gephyrophobia (meaning fear of bridges) is a replacement for Lake Of Fire, consisting of a long straight path through lava lakes with many caverns branching off the sides. The objective has been increased to 200 energy crystals.
Review:
Compression Factor: A decent level that's probably closer to what Rock Hard was originally intended to be than Rocky Horror. I probably spent too long trying to find a place to relocate too. Trying to mine across the lake ended up being a nuisance thanks to AI issues, as well as the super-fast landslides in several places there (see below for more on that). I liked the use of lasers needed to get there though.
Gephyrophobia: This one I personally enjoyed more. The wide variety of caves was fun to explore. I did feel there were a few too many crystals on the map, and went out of my way to not have enough crystals collected until I had explored every cave. I was sort of surprised the lava didn't erode more than it did, though I guess that explains the name of the map.
The height map was very abrupt, seemingly consisting of only two different heights; smoother terrain with more variety would've been nice.
There were originally some annoying super-fast landslides in this map as well, including one coming from a Recharge Seam, which can't be mined or reinforced. You may have seen this on a lot of maps I've played; this happens when there is a Fallin map (designating where and how frequently regular landslides will happen) but no FallinMultiplier property in the level's CFG code. I fixed this by adding one (copied from Air Raiders) and will do this from now on unless the level designer specifically says not to.
Lastly, there were supposed to be lava monsters on this map. However, for some reason, ALL of the emerge points were placed on solid rock, which monsters can't emerge from. There were even two placed on either side of a Recharge Seam, which could've been used as an infinite monster spawner. As I've said many times before: Please test your mods before publishing them. The creator did say this wasn't the final version... but then never did post any updates.

Also, I'd like to point out that Gearbox made a map for Halo to be included in the PC release of Combat Evolved also called Gephyrophobia. Not really related but I figured it'd be nice to remind people of that map. Oh, and as all ways the music is an absolute vibe.
