Cara: when you started choking I was going to call 911, but then I noticed that I would have been over 4 years late. Since this video was in June 12, 2017 and today is August 11, 2021 Wednesday.

This is really helpful thank you. I just have one question: If I announce the pose first will many student come straight into the full expression before I have a chance to use active verbs and speak to body parts? Does this matter?

Great question. Announcing the pose helps the mind to settle because the student knows where the body is headed. Then, by offering up strong, clear Super Cues using Active verbs you, the teacher, guide them step by step into a strong, well aligned pose. This is also mental training. Yes some students will rush into a pose but they will rush anyway. Hope this is clear.
