Okay, so I'll likely reshoot this. I just watched it myself for the first time and the knife is out of frame too much and it's driving me crazy. I imagine it's driving you crazy as well. Stay tuned. Thanks.

Great review Councilor. It's a darn spiffy knife. I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet. Yet. Totally agree that a knife is worth whatever you want to pay for it.

Rockstead makes very interesting looking knives. I've seen someone trying to sell a Higo 2 on BladeForum recently to not much success (perhaps more due to the garbage economy and the secondary market for knives taking a serious dump). Definitely would love to get my hands on one for the collection someday. Would be fun to see how they perform and carry. Thanks for the look at it dude 👊

I tried to offload an extra ZT0095BW I had (I got the S90V BLK sprint run version days after that one, so that's a keeper) on every major knife group on FB and Knafesale (I don't have a paid account on BF or I would have listed there) and it had almost zero interest shown for at least a week and a half. Decided to go with Ebay and it was gone in 30 minutes, and for much higher to offset their crazy fees. It truly is about having the most reach to find the right buyer sometimes!

Great knife. Any aftermarket Sebenza milled clip will fit in the milled pocket. I have the RGT black Ti on my Duralumin Higo. 👍

More like chuck sumface for this review 😂. Good glance over on this, it is a desirable looking piece. I am curious about fixing any major damage to the edge and what one would have to do to remedy that?

If you want to keep it within warranty you'd need to send it to Japan

I wonder how long you could keep the edge in prime condition with just a strop. I’m not great with sharpening, so that could be a really good selling point for me personally.

If you're not being dumb with it, you can strop it for a good long time. Eventually you're going to need to sharpen it though

Their website says to make a strop with denim and use “metal cleaner”. I’m sure the leather is fine but have you any insight into it

I contacted Flitz asking about an equivalent to the Japanese Pikal solution. They recommend thier metal polishing paste. I use a leather strop as well

Really like there knives, although ive never had one i do like the way they look and remind of a dressed up sebenza. The only reason i haven't tried one is the way they do the blade, if they were to ever do a full flat ground knife or full height convex that i can put a v edge on and have it be still TBE I'd definitely get one. I almost bought a user one once and was planning to send it out for a regrind so thats always a option i guess.

That would be an option. I think of the grind is causing you hesitate, it's not something you absolutely NEED to experience
