@@Squash101 no. "Shut up and dribble" isn't violently protesting speakers at universities. It's not cracking people's heads for having an opinion or wearing a red hat and it certainly isn't allowing the right to tear down cities when you're suppressing other people's rights based on political affilation. You think that's like posting "Shut up and dribble" on social media? I think some simple education could straighten you people out.

Same here. I'm not american and I find it very amusing how two news power houses sway opinions the way they want. And it's very funny the way this people think, they can't report simple cases the way it has happened without painting it the way they want it to be seen. I'm like report it the way it happened. No offense to Americans but I see them being played very easily and it's scary that a 'great country' like America with it's so called 'democracy' can't even agree on simple matters like saving it's citizens. For a 'Great country' like America it's just amusing.

There was a group of Black Hebrew Israelites that was harassing the boys and the Native American dude just came over singing a song thinking that the boys were harassing the much smaller group of Black Israelites. He was basically trying to keep the peace, but seemed to see the boys as the antagonists because he wasn't there when the argument broke out. www.vox.com/identities/2019/1/22/18193352/black-hebrew-israelites-covington-catholic-phillips-maga

Too bad he didn't use those critical thinking skills. Just watched the first video that came out, the opposite of what he said to do. Then made the assumption the cops were in the wrong. When now it's proven George was on drugs, resisting arrest, and asked to be put on the floor. On top of the cops talking amongst themselves if he was okay or not plus they called for an ambulance. George died of his drug addiction and heart condition. Bill just saw cops leaning on the guy and went "well of course he can't breath" even though the first thing they teach you in safety courses is if someone can say they can't breath they can breath.

Probably the most disturbing example I've seen was the Philip Brailsford case, happened a few years ago. Bodycam showed how the cop set up almost a "Simon says" game where if the guy made the wrong move he got shot. Made him crawl along the floor while keeping his legs crossed, guy was crying, saying "yes sir", "please don't shoot me". Ended up shooting him anyway. Went to court, got cleared of murder, didn't even get manslaughter. He got fired but probably got a decent severage package from the police department.

Spore6001 Daniel Shaver? He was drunk, and obviously not capable of what that cop was telling him to do. Begged for his life....cop unloaded on him. Bad cop. I felt so bad for that young man. I feel bad for most people shot dead, but some do STUPID things. They do. Why? I don’t know. I’m not supportive of this getting rid of cops thing. I’m all for better training, better monitoring of complaints and investigation of ALL complaints, and I think there should be incentives for black people to join, and make their mark in their communities too. Can’t have no cops. I don’t want to live in a world where vigilantism is the only protection we have. Let’s be reasonable.

he couldn't breathe because he was dying of pulmonary edema, caused by eating his dealer's stash when the police showed up. His lungs were filling up with fluid, standing, sitting, or lying down. Our two political parties are owned and operated by the corporations, billionaires, and globalists, who pay massive legalized bribery, calling it campaign finance, and campaign contributions, and have all policy decisions overwhelmingly benefitting them. Why does our media not cover this corrosive dysfunction? Because our media, ALL of it, LEFT AND RIGHT, is owned and operated by the same corporations, billionaires, and globalists. I agree with them on the protest movement, but Joe, READ SOME DETAILS, because, "defund the police," does not at all mean getting rid of police. It means no longer using funds to buy police tanks and tactical overkill, and redirect these funds into better education, better training for police officers, and providing opportunities, for education, for employment and job training, and especially access to mental health professionals, so when there is a mental health crisis and somebody is in desperate need of help they don't have police officers showing up, who are not mental health professionals, are not trained to be mental health professionals, every officer I've spoken to or ever heard speak on the subject, they do not want to be put in the responsibility of handling all of the mental health emergencies that they are currently having to deal with, and they are equipped with inadequate training and a gun and a club and a taser and an attitude of "this guy or this girl might just go off and I'm going to have to react in a split-second and inflict real f****** damage," or it's a sociopath or a psychopath showing up saying, "he's black, good, I hope this f****** a****** tries something cuz I'm going to blow his f****** head off!" And when the person runs away, they just shoot him in the back to make sure they get there dick pumping act of violence. Defund the police does not mean getting rid of the police, and the people saying that most of them know that's not what it means, they just wanted to spread lies this information fear. What it means is we don't spend so much on the Tactical side of our police forces, we stop funding the militarization of our police forces and we spend more in training the police to handle situations better, we spend more on screening police officers to find the nut job to find bigots and the racist, because while they are free I have those beliefs oh, they are free to believe what they want in America, we as American citizens can stand up and say it's not okay for members of our police force to be violently opposed to the presence or existence of certain groups of people who have a different color skin or whose ancestry in from a different ethnic part of the world.

So in one breath Joe rogan admits his friend documents videos of police brutality of people of every race, but then goes on to imply this is evidence of racism?

@@AB-Dre It's the tail end of the video I'm referring to. By his own admission, police brutality affects a lot more groups than blacks but the he also implies systemic racism in that same sentence.

@Victor Kurske Definitely a lot to that story. He should not have resisted arrest, but at the same time, it's not like he killed a man. Cops should be trained to handle the situation better imo. Cause yeah that guy definitely fucked up by resisting and everything, but in no way should he have had his life taken. Resisting arrest is a most certainly a crime, but not punishable by death.

@@zootin6688 funnily enough you don't know what happened before that because there's video of him talking to the officer very calm and peacefully and saying he will walk home so he's not putting anyone in danger by driving. He was complaint and it shouldn't have been escalated to begin with

ZOOTIN the full video is up. It’s 45 mins. The cops were super nice to him and he ended up fighting them and grabbing an officers taser. Nobody deserves to die, but he made bad decisions that lead to him dying when he decided to fight the cops and reach for the taser

I’m opposed to censorship & cancel culture; especially when it’s with an opinion I don’t agree with. And it’s for the exactly what Burr mentioned. I think these moments should start conversations instead of running from one.

What's disturbing is that Colmes was tweeting on politics right up to a few hours before his death. I read about it in the morning and when I looked at his feed he had been writing during the early hours of the day. The Left lives in a weird head space.
