Just reacquired the Rolex Hulk and give some feedback on it plus a general discussion.

Great vid, great collection! I'm looking to buy my first Rolex this year (2019) and really love the Hulk. May be too difficult to get new from my AD though so also checking out the Air-King

Great video(s). It took me some time to purge down to two, which is just the right number for me. I strongly considered the SD43, but comfort was the big unknown so thanks for the info. I never quite got used to the PCL's on my BLNR, not to mention I love the glidelock, so I purchased a 97200 Sub bracelet and never looked back. I'm currently down to my batman and hulk and I don't see me parting with either (famous last words). Thanks for the great video!

Like always great video, got my sub 114060 in May 2018 I was looking for an every day watch to wear because I’m tired of the cheap shit, thanks to your wrist shots with the sub 114060 you’ve made it made it much easier to choose it’s a tank! thanks my friend.

titotorres100 glad I could help mate. That 114060 is perfect, if it was my first Rolex then I would have retired with it, just so happened that the hulk was my first Rolex. I didn’t know as much about Rolex’s back in 2013.

Thats true..here in Kuwait, you cant find any GMT/SUB/DAYTONA...im on a waiting list for a hulk..lets hope i get mine before it gets discontinued 😬

I love my Hulk, had a blue faced two tone silver and gold one b4 this one.....cant beat a "roller"... Noticed yours wasnt working during the clip.......any reason?

Love my Hulk and Batman. I paid a slight premium, but glad to have them finally. Been about 6 months and they are both my daily. I switch back and forth depending on mood. I will be adding another model in 6 months. I really want the Smurf, but expensive as your aware. Might end up with the 42 polar exp II. Still miss my 114060. Should have never sold it.

I have the submariner hulk and was really happy to have acquired one. I recently bought a ceramic no date submariner and can't believe how good it feels to wear.. It is so sharp and elegant with a larger look thanks to to absence of the cyclops. The submariner is so naturally at home in black.... Although I love the hulk.... I find that it is a bit too pearly pop on the dial for long term everyday use. In my view the no date is such a refined and perfect watch for any occasion and attire. Dont get me wrong about the hulk... I think that it's recent popularity is more of a "must have" factor rather than the "like factor"

Totally agreed mate, I'll always remember 2012-2015 when everyone ignored the Hulk and now they are going nuts for it. Love the no date sub and it is my everyday watch nowadays. Clean bigger looking dial - agreed

Never clicked so fast... 🤓 I've been looking forward to this review for some time! I'm currently deciding between the 114060, the 116610LN or the 116610LV as my second Rolex. I too feel 3 is a great number of Rolex watches to rotate between. For me - it too is all about the memories you make whilst wearing them. Keep up the good work!

I currently own the 16570 Explorer II white dial from 2007. I've whittled down my choice to the 114060 or the 116610LN (the Hulk is out for now - mainly due to the long waiting list here in Australia). I love the Submariner but suspect I've grown accustomed to having the date window on the dial.

Perpetual Tourist well mate since you already have a date watch I would highly recommend an 114060! Miss that watch and when I get fed up of the sea dweller I’ll buy the 114060 again

Michael S: Too bad I don’t travel your area as much as I used to when I was a Military contractor. I Would probably grab a beer with you, as it sounds like we have some of the same taste in watches. My final three will probably be Hulk, SD50, and Daytona, that is whenever one becomes available at my AD LOL. Keep your SD50 especially if it has the MK1 fantastic watch!

American Jedi yeah buddy well if you’re ever around then a beer sounds good. I think the trio you mention is very special - especially with a Daytona in there - great versatility. I like black Daytona’s, tho I missed my chance to get a steel one from the AD. Foolish eh yeah this SD50 is mk1 :)

Nice watch waffling. The Hulk, it's a super cool and different watch with tons of personality. I saw it, tried it on, but I didn't buy it. I'm hoping for a revamped edition in 2019 with the 3235 movement, no supercase (unlikely considering the latest steel Pepsi), larger size at 41.5 (unlikely), darker green dial and bezel as I find the current sunburst dial too bright under certain lighting conditions. I bought a cheap green watch in the meantime to keep me going until the next Hulk... I love its dark emerald green. The Deepsea 116660 is the one you should let go IMHO if you must.

I ended up going with the 114060 and got it earlier than expected. I can't be happier. Just the perfect sports watch for me. The Hulk is at an all time high of hype right now like many Rolex models. Green right now is the hot fashion color so that makes the Hulk even more desirable. I have a Speedmaster and the Sub now. I'm really eyeing that Polar Explorer II as my third watch and calling it a day. Maybe a nice dress watch in the distant future.

Exactly that one. New one is too big for me and I find the whole watch to look too cartoony with the massive hands.

I did. I've watched all your videos. You are one of my favorite channels and I really enjoy your insight. You should make video reviews of all your watches before you sell them. I think the idea of a core 3 watch collection is great. It's what I plan myself. I'll probably get a dress watch eventually but it's so hard to splash to cash when I'm really a sports watch guy at heart. I also have a G-Shock which I use at the gym all the time. I use my Sub as well at the gym because there is no way in hell I'm leaving that in my car or locker. Oyster Bracelet makes is shockingly comfortable even when pounding the heavy weights. It's weird but I've wanted an SKX009 for a long time but never splashed out the cash. I have a Speedy and a Sub but I'm too cheap to buy a Seiko. I guess my G-Shock does the job for $30 and I like wearing my other 2 watches too much anyway. Eventually, I'll buy some sort of Seiko haha.

Hey Michael. As always a good and informative video. I’m having doubt about a Hulk or a Bluesy as my daily beater. The hulk is so rare and attractive, but the Bluesy is also such a pretty watch. What’s your take on the Bluesy? Is it corny not to buy a full gold model instead of TT? Thanks mate

Love the channel - can’t get enough - and watching your older videos. The Hulk is great if you have a collection. If you’re trying to be a one-watch guy, the Hulk can’t be done. Instead of selling my Hulk, I should have just bought a second Rolex 😐

It depends on your carácter and the person you are … I would rather have the Hulk as my one and only (it’s special and always have a different look ) than a standard black submariner … Hulk can be wash your only one

+Michael S By the way (if I have missed it in the video) how many cm's circumference are your wrists? Did you have to add or remove any links from the bracelet, or will you size it using the glide lock? Cheers from Sweden! 😊

jhm smart tv hey matey my wrist is around 7.4/7.5 inches. I haven’t removed any links yet so I will probably have to remove a link or two. I use the glidelock mainly for daily changes in wrist size - so like when swimming and walking outside in this Middle East heat. Best regards !

You should have bought the Kermit and have the best of both worlds, black dial and green bezel. And kudos to you having an SKX. Try a turtle next. They rock.

Im 6ft 120kg and I got a same size wrist and build as yourself. So I can relate more with you and see how good these watches will look on larger guys. As most utubers reviewing the "HULK" are on 5" wrists an have no forearms lol. I'm like "brah do you even lift".

THLConn love a no date sub and I see it returning some point down the road, I think it is perfect and balanced, just couldn’t justify right now with an SD50. I think the submariner no date is the quintessential Rolex

I feel like the best way to deal with watches is just to buy with consciousness and never sell. Don’t mind too much with what the trend is. If you just change your mind back and forth, you are not only going to lose some money but also a lot of time. And you don’t get to enjoy your watches. I see so many so called collectors keep getting and selling watches to have the perfect collection, I really don’t get that, maybe it’s just not my life style.

3rolex’s ? Why sell the others! 5yrs from now you will be saying why did I sell ? Only sell a Rolex if you need the money otherwise hang on to all of them, I agree to slim down the watch collection but DON’T sell any Rolex you own enjoy them all life is short.
