On the road bike and playing in the Hollywood Hills again. I jump on Nichols Canyon Drive and head down the canyon from Mulholland Drive to Santa Monica Boulevard.

What an exhilarating ride! I just did 50 miles on the SGRT and it was boring af. It’s the best I’ve got nearby unless I ride to Newport Coast Drive for what feels like the 1000th time. I can’t wait for the lockdown to be over so I can drive to LA and ride around there!

Nice ride. Seem you're a fan of the Argon. Is there a bike you have dedicated to just a road ride, and which groupset you have. I know you see no need for disc, and neither do i.

Hey I really enjoy watching your videos, I would love to know how big do you think is the difference from your gravel bike to your road bike when comparing the rolling resistance on the road? I own a gravel bike and Im thinking about getting a road bike as well but I am not sure whether it really is that much faster. I would really appreciate an answer!

Depends on what your gravel bike is and how it's setup and what you want from a road bike. My gravel and road bike setups are totally different and I wouldn't use my gravel bike for a road ride and vice versa. But I have friends that have one bike to do both, just change the wheels depending what you're riding.

@@harryl5085 go to your local bike shop and talk with them. Takes bikes out on test rides. Get a feel for what you're looking for.

What I was going to suggest, Alex. Unfortunately not the best time to be going to a bike shop right now. For the city I'd probably get a flat bar hybrid, or a single speed if you don't want to worry about maintenance.

I love this channel but blowing through the stop signs gives us cyclists a bad name in addition you can get seriously injured or killed by a vehicle. Be careful!

I cannot watch your channel anymore. Blatantly breaking laws: running stop signs, speeding, recklessly riding in residential areas just isn't cool. Be safe out there & be an ambassador for othe rcyclists.
