How would you compare Trump to Reagan in your opinion?
@TonyMontana-qv8cx
@TonyMontana-qv8cx 4 жыл бұрын
@@joeconcertshd3451 Reagan was lots better. He had a long established record as a conservative commentator and later Governor before running in 1976. Trump is not a true conservative as Reagan was but Trump has done a couple really good things: rolled back tons of Obama regulations AND nominated lots of true conservative/Constitutional judges. McConnell has done an excellent job in getting them confirmed too. Reagan had to compromise to get some confirmed because the Senate rules back then made it easy for just one Senator to block a judge from even getting a vote. Senate rules today are a lot easier in getting an up/down vote. I wish Trump behaved more like Reagan. Reagan p's charm and wit made it hard to dislike him. Trump's behavior turns off a lot of people.

American Politics is like having two screens, The Democrat screen is on the wall, the Republican's screen is on the floor in another building down the road. Want a Better Economy? History Says Vote Democrat! Personal disposable income has grown nearly 6 times more under Democratic presidents Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has grown 7 times more under Democratic presidents Corporate profits have grown over 16% more per year under Democratic presidents (they actually declined under Republicans by an average of 4.53%/year) Average annual compound return on the stock market has been 18 times greater under Democratic presidents (If you invested $100k for 40 years of Republican administrations you had $126k at the end, if if you invested $100k for 40 years of Democrat administrations you had $3.9M at the end) Republican presidents added 2.5 times more to the national debt than Democratic presidents The two times the economy steered into the ditch (Great Depression and Great Recession) were during Republican, laissez faire administrations Why Are Republican Presidents So Bad for the Economy? G.D.P., jobs and other indicators have all risen faster under Democrats for nearly the past century. U.S. Jobs, Income, GDP Growth 'Startlingly' Higher Under Democratic Presidents. Over the last 6 decades--60 years or so, history has tended to favor Democratic presidents in terms of economic performance. During the final 3 years of Barack Obama's presidency 2014. 2015 . 2016 , the number of jobs added was 1.5 million greater than the number added during Trump's first 3 years in office 2017 2018 2019. Trump inherited a booming economy - and handed Biden a nation 'in shambles'.

Greatest President of my life time. No contest. A man of eloquence, strength ,humility, wisdom. A rare man. God help us. We need a few good MEN like Ronald Reagan today. Or at least one. ..

History seems to repeat itself - sad - his speech is applicable today - uncontrolled inflation, food cost increases, gas prices unjustifiably high and no clear path to move forward positively on either foreign relations or on domestic unity

Ronald Reagan and JFK were the most overrated Presidents in American history. Top 3 Presidents: George Washington Abraham Lincoln FDR. then, 2nd tier great Presidents: Thomas Jefferson Theodore Roosevelt. 3rd tier great Presidents: James Madison Andrew Jackson Woodrow Wilson Harry S. Truman Dwight Eisenhower. JFK and Ronald Reagan could only be considered in the 4th tier. George Herbert Walker Bush 41 and Bill Clinton could be in fifth tier great Presidents.

@@powerfulstrong5673 lmao Woodrow Wilson?? Get out of here with that that globalist POS might be the worst President in history. I’m fact if we’re talking overrated let’s talk about FDR who is by far the most overrated (other than maybe Obama) he is the reason we have the welfare state we have now. Both of these guys did nothing but ignore our constitution and bill of rights and stripped away every bit of individualism that made our country great. I agree I do think JFK is a bit overrated but he is 100 tiers ahead of both of these clowns
