The roomies are inspired in the tv show “New Girl”, in the tv show the caracter that inspired mitchell dates the caracter that inspired Zoe. Gavin and Mitchell are supposed to be childhood friends, than they met J Huntington and they moved in to an apartment together with another friend of them. That friend went to another country to work so they got an available room. Zoe was living with her boyfriend but he cheated on her so she moved in with the boys! (She didn’t know any of them, she just found an announcement of the available room)

this household is based off the show “new girl”, zoe kind of just moves in with these guys, but thats what its based off of, cute house i felt like the base game didnt match their style very well

I think Zoe should go into the social media career! She’s already got charisma and mischief which you need for it, plus she’s social so her personality would be perfect for it 😊 but I LIVE for this build! Amazing as always 💚

You should totally do the new world in your save I mean, who doesn’t want more simlicy!!!!! Love ur builds

I actually really like that J's career is the tech guru one. I've always played him as kind of a smart jock. So he loves tech stuff but in his free time he does all his bodybuilding especially since the bodybuilding aspiration doesn't require that you do the athlete career. I think it ads some dimension to his character and displaces the "dumb bro jock" stereotype! Beautiful build as always!! (PS: my username on the gallery is kdbonbon and I've recently uploaded some pretty cool characters I designed if you need some Sims to fill in your save file!)

This house is so cute and eclectic! I love how you really take into account the sims' personalities and their story when you build. It really brings the build to life. Not sure if you know this, but this household is based on the sitcom "new girl". All the guys in the show were friends from university/childhood and the character Zoe is based on moved in with them because she saw on a ad from craigslist for roommates (she just went through a bad break up). J's character in the show was obsessed with this appearance because he grew up being fat and constantly teased and when he lost weight and got fit he kind of became a jerk/self-obsessed/player (though he does eventually settle down with someone). The characters that Zoe and Mitchell are based on end up together.

Its soooo interesting to see what you think of your sims! In my mind, J is the rich kid who inherited this house and allowed his friends to move in with him. I usually put him in the business career as I feel that his family could be a legacy business family cuz of the Huntington III in his name. Wat do u think? Also, I love the Zoe-Mitchell-J love triangle idea. Never thought of it that way!

Zoe should do the public relations route in the social media career!

I think hold off on the addition, you have a lot on your plate already with the save, but I do like the idea of it being her grandmothers house and she convinced her parents to let her rent it with her friends vs selling it, she’s just gotta prove she can handle it!

It was so funny listening to your ideas of who these characters are because this household is based off of the tv show New Girl (with Zooey Deschanel), with Zoe being a reference to Zooey and her character Jess (who is a teacher in the show). It's so funny how similar your ideas of the characters are to the basic ideas of the characters in the show! I'm excited about the new game pack, I know that everyone wants university and beaches and cars and whatever but I think Sims 4 lacks of personality, everything seems cloned from the others generations and something so different like that seems great. I love all weird things and supernatural and Strangetown was my favorite neighborhood in Sims 2 so I'm really excited!

In my game Zoe is in the business career. I figured since she’s such a cute, bubbly and «pink» sim she’d feel the need to be taken more seriously sometimes and prove herself as strong and independent while still being girly and cute.

As for including the new world in your save, I say don’t limit yourself on not using item. Definitely use them. If you are worried on time, then finish all the other worlds, release the save, then work on the new world:)

I think you should include Strangerville in your save file. And I love the build, it’s so different from your family builds and I loved the the little things that made the house feel so realistic and personalized for those specific sims.

I love this build. It’s so pretty. I think you should add the new world with your savefile & do some renovations on your previous builds to include any of the upcoming items in the strangeville gp. You should put the foosball activity in the house. I can imagine the guys having a competition between them on who’s the best foosball player.

Hey , i think you do a let’s play, i would be so entertained by it (& i’m sure others would too) because you do such a good job narrating & making stories for the sims 💜 i was looking through your channel & saw some, but they were from 3-4 months old, there has been a lot added to game since then. NEW PACK! I think you should finish what you’re doing and fill the empty lots of the new town. Like that it’ll give you some game play and Reno later on which is a perfect combo and it’ll give you time to get a feel on the pack

Hi! Loved this build, it’s so detailed and warm. About the save file, I think you should finish it up without Strangerville, and add that and the upcoming packs as updates because if you keep adding new packs before uploading your save file, you’ll never get to release the actual save file.

so true about the difference between male and female roommates and what your homes look like! I never really thought about it before, but your absolutely right. My homes where females were in the majority (even when all of us were students) the house in terms of furniture and even the equality in regards to household chores was lot more put together than the ones where it was a male dominated apartment - can confirm! what does this say about our society?

I think having a little series for the new pack will be fun! Personally, I don’t mind if you start one (since there will be a spoiler warning) but I’m also one of those people who will be buying the pack when it comes out so I can see what happens for myself. I’m sure other people who can’t get it right away might feel differently, but that’s my opinion! ❤️ I also am LOVING this house. Mid century houses are one of my favorites to watch :)

I LOVE this house!!! Is it going to be on the gallery or is this a save file only build!! I can totally see a family with a teen or two (maybe twins) and a toddler. The parents are pretty popular in the neighborhood and have money but are not flashy. They host a lot of bbq’s and pool parties as well!!

I'm super excited for Strangerville, I love supernatural, mystery and conspiracy stuff so this pack seems perfect for someone like me! The world looks really interesting too, although I think it's funny that a game pack world is bigger than an expansion pack world (Del Sol Valley) but hey, at least we get a reasonably sized one now. I'd also love to see you add Strangerville to your save-file if you want to ofc, it'd be well worth waiting for!

I put Zoey in the Mixology career. I thought she had a skill point in that or cooking when I opened my game. Anyway, she's got a huge crush on J and he likes her too, but he has a couple of girlfriends! I believe the 3 guys were friends & roommates & advertised for another roommate & Zoey showed up! Also, Gavin is too interested in work (writer) for romance and Mitchell is too interested in (gamer) play to bother noticing too much else that goes on in the household. If the social media career was available when the game first shipped I might have tried that career for Zoey. But she's happy working as a bartender, she loves meeting new people and making new friends! Love the house and it won't be long til all of my worlds contain your renovated or rebuilt lots. Thanks for all of your hard work cos I suck at building!

In these videos you could also create the characters that would live in this house, it would be much more entertaining to see how it comes out of your head the Sim eho could live in each house
