Great tutorial. Damn, I guess sometimes there are no shortcuts in life. New to this, but I had a feeling frame by frame would still be a part of it. I assume that's where chroma key becomes a thing, but it struggles when there are multiple colors and motion? Thanks again.

I guess sometimes rotoscoping is the final savior : ) Chroma key with unprepared footage, in some situations, can also help out and work well for starters.

Your words make me smile : ) Thank you. Mocha Pro is the best for Rotoscoping work. Nuke is mostly used in production houses for overall VFX work, including the Rotoscope. But the same can be achieved with After Effects.

Thank you. I am afraid first I have to finish the After Effects tutorials, before moving on to Nuke, as it is less expensive and within easy reach for most of us. However, the techniques that I am sharing here are working in any software, the only difference is the interface and the system that the platform works in. Rotoscope is the same rotoscope with the same pen tool, be it in After Effects or Nuke or else ; )
