I really enjoy this knife. The size is maybe my one concern. Just a a touch large for an EDC. Maybe scaled down to just under 4 inches closed would make this even more appealing. Love the blades and handles. Thanks for the review, Slippy.

Very nice bone, a more caramel colour. I love the fact that it's carbon steel on the blades. Really well made, no blemishes. Thank you for showing this beauty Matt.

I really like the cattleman knives. I love Barlows but a little small for my paws. This is a great alternative with same blade set

Slippy wow super nostalgic knife love natural scales but if it was mine all my carbon steel blades get forced patina treatment to protect against rust stick blades in lemon or wrap blades in malt vinegar soaked kitchen paper for faster reaction 👍🐾🦊

@@John-wo5bptry laying ‘strings’ from the inside of a banana peel on parallel diagonals across the blade overnight to layer into the patina some really cool dark but subdued stripes!

I’ve just ordered the Cinnamon Stag Barlow, I do like a Barlow but that’s a mighty fine knife you have there my friend. I don’t have anything in that style I will have to get myself one or two 🤩👍.

I got the cinnamon bone scout knife, and mine didn't have hardly any color, is had the dehydrated urine color, dark yellow, and and the black came off in the very beginning...but I dyed it with some Eggplant color RIT Dye which is a deep dark purple black...and man oh man...its a new awesome look and even better than expected

A very pretty knife. As for it being UK legal carry, the actual act does state cutting edge. But the Govt site says " Blade ". So as you say, it depends on if you are prepared to go to court over it if you get stopped and get a plod who goes by the whole length. It is as well to remember though, that if they arrest in error, they'll be likely to 1. not admit it, and 2. come up with some bollocks about you waving it around in a threatening manner or some such. And of course, the courts know that the Poleice NEVER lie ( even though they do lol ).

Why is it knifemakers cant figure out how to put nail knicks on OPPOSITE sides of knife blades, so that you can access them and not be blocked by blades on the same side?

The bolsters and the scales remind me of WW1 British army clasp knives I've seen. It's a shame the Sheffield companies didn't start remaking something along those lines, an American company wouldn't let the world forget they did something so historically significant like that but Sheffield companies except TEW wouldn't do anything so crass as to promote their past or even present!!!!😂
