I've been a bodybuilder since I was eighteen. I started as a fat kid and eventually got into great shape. And it completely changed my life for the better. Which I maintained throughout my life. Until about two years ago when I found myself in one sided relationship. I eventually stopped working out. And fast forward one year , I went back to being very overweight. I didn't recognize myself and felt lousy. My bodyweight went from a muscular 17 stone to an unbelievable 23 stone and completely out of shape , so much so that I damaged my health. And all because of a failed relationship. When it didn't work , I just gave up. Today after two years of not touching a weight , I went back to the gym and lifted weights. Nothing has ever felt soooo good. Followed by a swim afterwards. The best day of the last two years. The bodybuilding and healthy lifestyle is the very best thing one can ever be involved with. To give up on it , is to give up on oneself. I'm now 58. And , mistakenly thought that because of my age , I could never get back into Bodybuilding and the healthy lifestyle. And , I now have. Five stone to lose. It's gonna be a big ask. But I will do it. With regards the cottage cheese and chives there is loads of it in british grocery stores. It's great with egg whites. Perhaps you should come to england , Jay , and feast to your heart's content on cottage cheese and chives. I really enoy these jay walks and they've inspired me to get back into it. I'm now as inspired as when I was eighteen. There's nothing better than the Bodybuilding lifestyle., as much for the mind as the body. Thanks , Jay , for these inspiring videos. Just watch this 58 year old kid go

I had to stop working out for 12 years because of a herniated disk. I am now back at the gym trying to get back into shape. I lost all my strength and size from not working out for that long. I have been back in the gym starting from scratch for a year. I am 47 years old and I am hoping by I'm 50 I can get back into shape. It's a marathon and not a sprint.

I am 58 and started hitting it hard again three years ago at Iron Revolution in Howell, NJ. I went from 230 dad bod to 190 definitely not a dad bod. There's nothing like being at a pool, or beach and having people randomly say "damn you are jacked!" And definitely love the reaction from the wife! So cool! Love the videos Jay! You're the man!

You and Dave turn out great content that keeps me going. Ultimately, the people that make excuses why it can’t be done dive me. I’ll be 48 in a few weeks, take nothing, including supplements, and bury most people. Eating right (and a lot) hard work, and proper rest. Like you said “make it a habit”. Been doing this for years and still keep getting better. Fit for 50 has just added to all of that. Keep it up.

I also love orange roughy (because I'm not a fish person)...ate a lot of it late 90's/early 2000's. It became "overfished", endangered & widely unavailable to buy after 2007. I still can't find it in my area (woods of Missouri), but I've been told it's appearing again in the STL area. And grow your own chives. I started my own this year ..so easy to just trim what you need for your meal! They're good in cold climates & should do fine in Nevada. And they come back every year on their own. Thanks for the great videos. I watch Jaywalking & Cutler Cast while making my egg whites & rice before heading to the gym, 7 days a week. P.S. I'll be 47 on July 1. 💓💓💓

My motivation...I look at myself and think, "that needs to be better, that needs to be smaller, that needs to be bigger" etc. I'm 65 and I don't like what I've done to my body, but, I'm having a hard time getting my body to respond, meaning, build some muscle in some places and not burn the fat in other places. Men's Physique - I really like this "new" category...not too big, not too small.

I watch your video of working out that certain body part for the day. Been lifting for 2 months now and can see the transformation already. What motivates me is seeing my body change looking better and stronger. I have to get up at 4 in the morning no matter where I'm at. Because I move furniture for Atlas van lines over the road. So eating on the road and working out takes alot of discipline. But I really want to thank you for the motivation and instruction in your videos. I always thought I needed a coach to get me started. But you've been my coach through these videos. I turn 50 in two years I hope to be in the best shape of my life by then.
