Great story, but animal abuse isn't a great thing, to say the least. But this is no different from how pigs are treated in the meat industry. Wouldn't be a bad idea to cut down/eliminate the meat consumption.

Replies to this are a bit bizarre. I do agree about this particular instance and listening to that anecdote from Bruce I'm wondering just how much of that slaughter was legal... I know pigs have to be restrained, then stunned and rendered unconscious before they can be bled. Taking one in a box out into the wilderness, one person on top of the box letting it out and another stabbing it in the neck sounds wildly illegal. Don't think the military have special dispensation to slaughter livestock as they please either...

Not at all I joined the infantry (Rifles not para) It’s gruelling tabbing with full kit, Then to sleep under a poncho (Plastic sheet) No good for these blokes you absolutely must be desperate, council estate, divorced parents, drugs and violence, bad school or you won’t cope . Not millionaires having a woddle through the woods. Alex said lunatic lieutenants Totally wrong the army doesn’t own a single Eton educated lunatic. He meant screws ( corporals) The rank below sergeant Not an easy mistake if you’ve served No wonder old Roy never made it as a gaffer their not on selection for the military!
