Ordered Two individually listed No. 1 Mk III Enfields from Royal Tiger Imports. I received a No.1 Mk III made in 1911 and a Mk III* made in 1917. Both by the Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield, England. Overall in good condition considering the source, with useable bores and varying original finish. The 1917 had a forend with a volley sight I swapped with the 1911.
Pros
-Good amount of original finish remaining on the 1917 dated example
-Uncommon complete volley sight
-One is unit/armorer marked on the buttplate
-One is a Mk III with a magazine cutoff slot
-Useable bores thus far
-Overall good value for the price
Cons
-Very dirty
-Filthy bores
-Wirewheeled metal & wood
-The 1911 forend is cracked and will require a repair
