Finally got my Ruggedmade 737 in after a few weeks waiting, I have some maple with lots of knots and twists to make the Ruggedsplit struggle. It handled everything very well with the short run getting used to everything on the splitter but the good news is I have plenty of wood cut up to keep me busy for a few days to finish working out the bugs.
My biggest complaint with this splitter is the wedges, 4way and 6way wings are way too short unless you are splitting 8-10" rounds. if you are splitting anything over 12" that is stringy you will be making multiple splits to get them separated. All in all after about 2hr on the machine so far it seems like a solid unit for the price, definitely no eastonmade or wolf ridge but also much more budget friendly.

My 37 ton came in friday ,we put it together today and can't wait to split some wood.

Awesome, it’s a pretty good machine. I got the 4 way and 6way wedges when I got mine, really don’t like the 6 way since it works it’s way up every split but the 4 way is awesome.

I am debating on a 28gpm pump on it to speed it up a little more.

@@foggyvalleyacres how much more is the 28gpm pump and will my honda engine be enough hp for more flow?

The pump on the 37t is a 22gpm, the 28gpm calls for 15hp. My splitter has the raven which is 15hp, I think the Honda was a little smaller engine but I’m not sure.

Something must be wrong if it’s coming out of the overflow

If the overflow/vent side (non motor side) is pointing downhill it will overflow since the oil lever is about 2” from the top of the tank. It has a vent drilled in the dipstick and will run out
