Star Wars died as soon as Disney bought it, then they proceeded to crap all over it and destroy its characters. Then Hamill went mental and made it even harder to watch the OT. There is literally nothing they can do to save it, they can't write a proper story and the actors are gone, it's over.

Well, she didn't have anything to do with it. However, she was one of the VERY FEW who knew about the appearance of Luke Skywalker. Star Wars Lore Advisor, Mr. Pablo Hidalgo DIDN'T know...which is why he targeted Star Wars Theory's reaction to Luke's return.

Throwing Ahsoka into the Fate of the Jedi series will turn it on its head. Ahsoka defeating Abeloth diminishes the latter and is a hard nope for me.

Luke should be in more projects. Also, Lucasfilm needs new leadership! Here's what Disney should do to win back more fans: 1. Announce Kennedy's retirement. 2. Hire new people for the story group. Reassure fans that things will improve. Firing the story group and people at Lucasfilm is necessary. Even firing the VP and others at Disney would be a good idea 3. Hire Gina Carano back 4. Don't make the Rey movie (the ST is too controversial). Make a different movie set hundreds of years into the future featuring an older Grogu. A director like Peter Jackson should direct New Republic movies after Favreau's Mandalorian and Grogu movie 5. Bring in Luke, Han, and Leia in upcoming New Republic projects. They should interact with each other and help out with the battles.

They need to just stop production on everything they have going, because it's all hot garbage. Give us a few years to miss Star Wars. Quietly work on something that picks up with the Han, Luke, and Leia and their contemporaries recast, and pick up from Heir to the Empire. Just pick up from there, and pretend the rest of the shit didn't happen. Say whatever you have to say to save face, call it Legends or whatever. But continue on from there and NEVER REFERENCE THE SEQUELS AGAIN.

So Dismay will lure fans in with the promise of “Here’s Luke, you will love it!” so the can fund more DEI, Stark Woke and possibly pay for their legal battle with Gina! Nope, they fooled me once with the Jon Favreau “Star Wars Civil War” crap and retained KK after they got funds, they are not going to fool me twice. Until Iger and KK are gone and Dismay returns to family friendly Disney or the sell Star Wars … no more money for them!

I’m just an average man. Lucasfilm broke me on Ack-O-Lyte episode three. I won’t be watching anything else. Unless multiple reviewers I trust say it’s worth watching. I bet there’s a lot of average people like me that are done. Good job Disney. Good job Lucasfilm.

Yes, bringing back Luke & fixing his story should be the priority. Many want the franchise to move beyond the Skywalkers, and that's great, it's a vast galaxy. If Disney had simply given the original characters a satisfying & respectful story to the OC characters, we would already be well on our way, but in disrespecting what most people loved about Star Wars, it diminished the quality & appeal of further stories.

In order to “move past the Skywalkers” it would be necessary to have very talented writers that understand how to create and develop compelling characters. Since they are utterly untalented, those fine folks at Lucasfilm, they really have no choice but to go back to that well

I honestly expect the ratings for Ahsoka season 2 to be a disaster as many fans have walked away from Disney Wars and there is very little chance of recovery, regardless of what they do and they'll likely start screwing up again as they cannot help themselves at this point, until there is a great reset at Lucasfilm, AKA a massive purge, there is not much chance of anything seriously changing, anything that isn't original or prequel trilogy doesn't sell in terms of mech and with such low levels of interst, it would be much wiser to put the brand on ice for a decade and then attempt a revival instead of, just shove it out and see what sticks approch and there is coming a day, when stores will finally say "Enough!" and stop stocking Star Wars goods as they cannot make money off them and have to put them on clearance to get rid of them and not make a profit off them, they'll not care what Lucasfilm & Disney do on their streaming platform or in the cinemas, if they see no value in stocking anything related for these formerly big IPs, they will not stock them and thus Hasbro looses along with other companies that make mech for the IP and then Disney looses! Everything that has happened, comes from bad management, not just of Lucasfilm but Disney as a whole, where one man was granted unchecked power and was able to take control of the whole company and run it into the ground without any oversight or caring for the shareholders stake in the company!!

Having to parade Luke again just goes to show how Lucasfilms lost the plot under Disney. We all remember how they portrayed his character in the Sequels. Despite his appearances in Mando and Boba, it still culminates in the sack of dung he becomes in the Sequels. Actually, it's not really a pivot: Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and George Lucas (since 2019) have planned this for quite some time. Hence, the reason for the rumored 2 Animated series focusing on The Clones, The Hidden Path, and Luke Skywalker, post-The Original Trilogy. It just seems like a pivot, because of all of the non-related projects that got greenlit years ago by Kennedy. It has to be noted that The Acolyte was a show pretty much made in a bubble created by Leslye Headland (and her handpicked co-writers/co-producers), as far back as 2019 (being, also, a minor off-shoot of The High Republic Multimedia Initiative, of which, Dave Filoni has had no role in creating, since its inception, in 2018). It was the pet project of Kathy Kennedy; while, The Mandoverse IS NOT. Skeleton Crew, the next tale within the Mando pocket universe, was an idea that Jon Watts and Chris Ford (the Tom Holland Spider-man movies) discussed first with Jon Favreau, then right afterwards, Dave Filoni, then (supposedly) Bob Iger. Then, it went to Kathy Kennedy for approval...though, it seems Iger already wanted and okayed the project beforehand, since Favreau has done good work and made Disney A LOT of money. Kennedy's involvement with Skeleton Crew ironically recalls the great producing successes she had with Lucas and Spielberg's (first 4) Indy movies, along with Spielberg's Amblin movies and TV shows of The 1980s (which Skeleton Crew is meant to be an homage/love letter to). So, in that case, she'll be producing but not controlling. Yes, Jonas: I well-remember seeing that picture of Luke (from ROTJ) with a red X over his face, hanging on a wall in their main office, unintentionally featured in a SW Show video. I will say, even if Favreau, Filoni, Lucas & Friends give Us a GREAT SW story through The Mandoverse, and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker is presented as THE HERO he's always supposed to be, the horrors done to his character and The SWU, 30 years later, will make it bittersweet. However, I don't consider The Sequel Trilogy to be part of Lucas canon, so, I will never acknowledge its existence in The Skywalker Saga or The Mandalorian Saga. That doesn't bode well for the prospects of The New Jedi Order/Rey Movie. At present, if it ever even gets to be filmed, I'm 90% certain that I won't be venturing to the movie theater to see it. Nah. Luke isn't a hero. He might have struggled with impulsiveness in the movies but in the end. he gave into it and tried to delete his nephew because of a feeling. Then the soy boy abandoned his his sister, his best friend and brother in law. He turned his back on Chewie. He turned his back on C3-P0. He turned his back on R2. He turned his back on the Jedi. He turned his back on helping people. The Acooylte shows the Jedi jack boot hypocrites that steal children from space witches and lie to each other to cover up their failures. Obi Wan? Instead they defamed and bullied him off the platform.
