+Swarley Underhill Ruby's cape reminds me a lot more of Qrow's one now; I really am disappointed though about the time skip. They missed the perfect opportunity at the end of V3 to show Jaune mourning by time skipping, and the possibility of watching Jaune slowly get better seems to also be tossed aside for a "Jaune is just gonna be good now" idea.

Jordan Beeney although this lets the show get right into the action and save Jaune's growth for flashbacks when the pace gets slow. I just hope if he's learned his semblance by now that they reveal it to us in a cool way still.

Sometimes, a timeskip does make a character look just a tiny bit different but more than enough to make him/her seem like not the same person. I wanted to see the Ren from Vol 1-3 be able to reveal his poison powers (still clinging to it) the way he appeared then, but hopefully his Vol 4 performance (along with his appearance) doesn't disappoint me. I have actually seen the mugshot of him (as well as Nora and Jaune, no Pyrrha unfortunately) past the timeskip. Higher collar, slightly longer hair, and what looks like a violet highlight instead of pink (or maybe it's just the lighting). If it is violet, I do hope it's a symbolism for his willingness to finally use his Semblance. But again, no Pyrrha, meaning my "Pyrrha Necros" theory is pretty much null now (unless of course, they're hiding her on purpose but I won't count on that too much). However, I don't care as much as I did before. As long as they will give me an OP Mulan Man, I won't be disappointed at all. Alright fine, at least a Semblance that's truly worth the wait--lethal, dangerous, lowkey poison.

Actually it is but you end up with messy extra bandaging. This is from personal experience using tensor bandages for a sports injury but basically what you do is you hold one end with you teeth then start wrapping. When you are done wrapping, the part you were holding with your teeth is now held in place by the bandages wrapped around it. The bandage end you were holding with your good hand you then pin under your armpit and you use medical tape or elastic pins to make sure it doesn't unravel.

I wouldn't have really made sense to skip 2 or 3 years anyways, after the Battle of Beacon, that just seems way to long for the villains to have put their plans on hold and for the good guys to have not made any headway. 8 Months feels just about right for what we left off on.

I'll have to wait and see the final product till I can say too much. I have to say I do enjoy the New (c)Zelda style a bit more. It allows for some more darker grimey elements to be added.

It looks magnificent! My one problem is that its a giant undertaking to change their pipeline after 3 volumes of it. It also makes me wonder if they're doing it all in Maya

I really love this art style a lot more than the original. The environments look ridiculously good. Clothing flows like silk and the lights wrap gorgeously around everything.

Confirmed by Kerry, it's a good amount of time. Not too little not too much :)
